Overzicht:
Dit huis ligt aan de oostkant van Stid Hill en biedt een schilderachtig uitzicht op bijna het hele Canandaigua-meer. Ons huis ligt op 9 hectare privé hectare en beschikt over alle moderne voorzieningen, een open plattegrond en een ingegraven zwembad. Drie slaapkamers op afzonderlijke verdiepingen met een eigen badkamer voor elke slaapkamer. Een extra damestoilet bevindt zich op de begane grond.
Het geweldige uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer gaat naadloos over in de bijgewerkte moderne keuken en de extra grote eetkamer - allemaal met een adembenemend uitzicht op het Canandaigua-meer. Het dek is toegankelijk via openslaande Franse deuren vanuit de slaapkamer op de begane grond en vanuit de eetkamer. Nadat je aan dek bent gegrild, loop je een paar meter van het huis af naar het omheinde grondzwembad.
Blijf binnen koel met centrale lucht. Kille nachten? De open haard moet het hele huis opwarmen. Wasserij op het hoogste niveau, samen met veel beddengoed, nieuwe, schone handdoeken en lakens, evenals badlakens!

Onze nabijheid tot Bristol Mountain maakt dit huis, meer liefdevol bekend als het Eagles Nest, het perfecte toevluchtsoord het hele jaar door met skiën / snowboarden beschikbaar in de winter en zip lining / boomtop avonturen beschikbaar in de zomer / herfst.

Nitty gritty:
De indeling van de slaapkamer / badkamer is als volgt:
een queensize bed (Serta Edgebrooke Eurotop) in kelder / staking niveau. Er is een complete badkamer met grote douche recht tegenover een korte gang. Op het hoogste niveau, de slaapkamer, is er een queensize bed (Serta iComfort Hybrid-serie) met aangrenzende badkamer met dubbele wastafels en een grote douche. Op de zolderverdieping, is er een tweepersoonsbed (Allswell Hybrid) en een badkamer met volledige (douche-inzet). Al onze bedden en kussens hebben matrassen / kussenslopen voor hygiëne en gemoedsrust.

We willen wel vermelden dat de grind oprit niet verlicht is. We raden u aan om overdag aan te komen, omdat het afgelegen karakter van het huis het moeilijk kan maken om 's nachts te vinden als u niet weet waar u naartoe moet. Helaas had een recente gast met een kleine sedan problemen met het navigeren op de oprit en had hij hulp nodig van onze vriendelijke buren. Hoewel de oprit voor de meeste chauffeurs geen probleem is en de buren erg behulpzaam zijn, willen we ervoor zorgen dat het verblijf van iedereen soepel verloopt - gratis hulp! - en daarom moeten alle gasten nu 4WD of AWD hebben.

We houden van kinderen en honden en zijn blij beide te huisvesten! We hebben een kinderstoel, stoelverhogers en pack / play bij het huis. We hebben ook hondenkommen maar sta ze niet toe op het meubilair!

Sinds de aankoop van het huis in juli 2018 hebben we een waterzuiveringssysteem voor gefilterd drinkwater toegevoegd, een 8-persoons eettafel binnen, een 8-persoons eettafel, een extra picknicktafel om het uitzicht te overzien, zwembadmeubels samen met parasol, nieuw zwembadfilter en onlangs de tuin aangelegd.

Naples peace

Overall we had a such a wonderful stay for the weekend. The property is stunning and set far back from the main roads, it was so peaceful not to hear traffic or surrounding neighbors and hear the melodies of birds and nature! The home itself has an openness too it that leaves you relaxed. It was truly difficult whether to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors or a light atmospher inside. We had the hardest time wanting to leave and look forward to planning a time to come back!

Beautiful stay with a view !

We had a wonderful Friday-to-Monday stay at this lovely home in Naples, NY. The property was clean, comfortable, and well kept, with beautiful grounds and stunning views of Canandaigua Lake thanks to its elevated location.The open, fully stocked kitchen made cooking meals a breeze, and even though we had a couple rainy days, we stayed entertained with the pool table and a fun vintage Ms. Pac-Man game.Check-in was seamless, and the property owner was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the entire process.One thing to note: the driveway is quite steep, so I’d recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle, especially in wet weather.Overall, a fantastic getaway, we’d absolutely stay again!

What a great place for a fun, quiet getaway!!

We loved our stay here! Tons of things already furnished in the house to make packing easier. All the comforts of home! Privacy is second to none. The serenity of this house is exactly what we needed to get away from the city. The hosts are incredible and we definitely would stay here again. Very clean, stocked, comfortable and fun! Just Book it!

Amazing views of the mountains and the lake. Private, secluded, tranquil, quiet, peaceful—these are just a few words that come to mind to describe the atmosphere of the property. Huge pluses include a heated pool, firepit, and dog-friendly accommodations. If you’re planning to cook during your stay, it has everything you need (even a kitchen apron!). The village of Naples, just a short drive away, has a great market called Joseph’s Market that offers seasonal fruits and veggies, breads, oils, jams, and even steaks. Spectacular Vacation

We Loved every moment of our vacation at this beautiful home. It has a fabulous open floor plan with gorgeous views overlooking the pool, with Canandaigua Lake & the hillside vista beyond. Home is well appointed with everything needed. Coffee on the deck In the AM watching the sunrise was glorious. The property is extremely private & quiet. Unbelievable Star gazing at night. Everything needed for a spectacular vacation. Ie: Pool, pool table hot tub, fire pit, cornhole. Outside the property there are many things to do in Naples, Canandaigua, breweries, wine tasting, hikes, etc. Great cookies at Company Store not far down the road & Cheshire Farms Creamery has fabulous ice cream/coffee in Canandaigua. The driveway absolutely requires the vehicle as stated in description. Thank you Annie & Gary!!! We hope to be back next Summer!

Lots to do

This is a lovely property, close to lots to do, and lots to do even if you never leave the house. The house is updated, has a big room with a nice pool table (not in a basement or “kid area” like most), a lovely pool, a fire pit, and a hot tub. Very comfortably sleeps 6 but one of the rooms isn’t closed off with a door. The hosts are responsive and very detailed (very helpful), and easy to work with. There are a few minor things in the house that need attention/updates, like, there are only 5 forks in the kitchen, the bottom of the two chairs on the deck have collapsed, and minor wall repairs are needed here and there. Nothing major and the hosts do provide a lot of little extras, like plenty of trash bags, dish tabs, laundry tabs, cooking oils, and even a welcome bottle of wine from the region. Very welcoming. It’s a high per day cost compared to other properties in the area but it’s worth it!

Wonderful Girls Trip

What a wonderful way to spend time with your girlfriends then to do it at this lovely house! We had an amazing time and are thankful to our hosts for allowing us to stay at their home. This is an incredible getaway stay. It's high up with a stunning view of the lake from every window. Clean and inviting, the rental was ready for a weekend stay perfectly. Pictures don’t do it justice

We absolutely loved everything about this house and location. Stunning views of Canandaigua Lake and hills. Sunrise and Sunset just stunning. So many amenities, fireplace, fire pit, pool table and beautiful large deck with a grill and tables and chairs to enjoy the view while you eat. There is also a great swimming pool but not open this time of year. The kitchen was gorgeous with hi tech appliances. Will definitely be back and the hosts were fantastic to work with. Also pet friendly so that was a major plus for us!

Release Your Worries + Clear Your Mind

If you're looking for a unique property to release your worries and clear your mind...this is the place! As it is written, you must have a AWD/4WD vehicle and I will tell you "that's the truth!" Without this type of vehicle, you'll not reach this beautiful property. I'm in my mid 70s + use a cane and/or treking poles while walking, etc. + I found this home was accessible for me.. there is a main floor master bedroom w/bath. The two other bedrooms (both with a full bath) were on different levels of the home. All were fully accessible for me + my guests. This property offers the peace + tranquility that is truly needed in our present lives... I was a guest from Monday 4pm check in - Wednesday 10 am check out. During this short stay I witnessed a beautiful pink sunrise sky, a star show, an early a.m. greeting by dear roaming around the apple trees, pure silence + all the other sounds a secluded property could offer. These experiences are hard to have when living in the city but at this property, you'll feel like you won the lottery!! This property had been well designed... great inground pool (a short distance from the home) with a very comfortable furniture grouping allowing you to enjoy as much time as you wish; the firepit area was designed so that you could view and enjoy the property from a different perspective while sitting around the fire; and lastly the hot tub was the cherry on top! It was a delightful stay...DO IT! You won't be disappointed. R+ to owners!

The house and property were amazing and exactly what my family needed for our annual vacation together. We had an easy time entertaining ourselves with a heated pool, large private lawn for games, hot tub, and pool table inside. Amazing Relaxing Experience

Myself and three other guys came in for a golf weekend during the PGA championship. Although the house was 45 minutes to an hour from the action, we thoroughly enjoyed being able to spend some downtime and just unwind from our busy normal days. The view is amazing of the lake, the backyard is exceptionally manicured, and the house did not leave attention to detail! We were close enough to a small town in order to get provisions but other than that it seemed it was set an a location to offer a very relaxing weekend or weekdays for whoever chooses to stay here. Of course we are from Texas and are used to humidity and high temperatures. This area proved to have exceptional weather, except for one day of rain, which was a cold front that came through but we took advantage of the downtime and just relaxed. I highly recommend staying at this property! The owners were very informative prior to arrival, and they were merely a text message away for any questions that we had. First class service for a first class location!

Eagles Nest

Eagles Nest is a beautiful place with everything you want in a vacation home. There is plenty of open space, lovely views, and a home that has all that you need for a delightful stay. Amy and Gary were wonderful and helpful in answering all our questions after we arrived (like how do you turn on the lights in the living room? Answer, the switches to the left of the fireplace!) Anyway, the only negative was there was no heat in the downstairs. This time of year, it was impossible to utilize the area. I do not think this would be a problem in the summer. The driveway is quite steep, and best traversed with a 4WD/AWD. But once you get there, the place is fabulous! The town of Naples is close by with plenty of interesting things to do there. Wonderful Family Thanksgiving

We loved the open feel of the home. Plenty of space. Each bedroom with dedicated bathrooms sure came in handy. We had no problem getting up or down the driveway! Annie was very accommodating and available. One consideration: Some of kitchen pots and pans are a little worn out. If you are going to do a bunch of cooking, you might consider bringing critical pans of your own.
