Spectacular loft in downtown Narbonne
We stayed at Henri’s modern loft with an industrial vibe from 15 - 19 May, 2024. The apartment/loft is very spacious, clean, and with all the accoutrements you would expect at home! The deck/balconies on the North and South sides of the loft were wonderful and provided a lovely cross breeze! Henri was delightful and so welcoming. He met us outside the parking garage and then escorted us to the apartment, providing a great overview of all of the apartment’s features. His English is far better than our French 👍. We recommend this apartment highly as a home base for all that is Languedoc!

Ideal location in the city
We very much enjoyed our stay as the apartment which was very close to all amenities in Narbonne. Henri, our host, was very friendly and helpful and arranged secure parking just across the road. Unfortunately the weather was disappointing but we still managed to relax and eat out on the terrace on occasions.

Great location and very quiet
We chose this apartment on the basis of location and quietness and were not disappointed by that. We liked Henri, the owner, who greeted us very warmly and gave us details to contact him any time. There are a few things to mention. Only my husband and I rented the apartment but had there been others with us the bedrooms lacked privacy due to louvre style sliding doors, hung on the wall, not in the frame and one didn't close properly. The style of the property with concrete flooring was quite industrial. The shower area in particular. We liked the balconies. I'm British and never slept on such peculiar shaped pillows before- they were large and square which took up a lot of the bed. The bed linen was not to my taste (brownish fabric) and would suggest Henri changes to crisp white cotton sheets and pillow cases :) Be aware lift goes to 3rd floor and you have to walk up to 4th floor.

Merci pour votre appréciation.Concernant la literie en pilou, nous sommes désolés que la couleur du mois de mars ne vous ai pas plu. L'été nous mettons des draps en lin avec des couleurs d'été. Pour ce qui est des deux grandes chambres indépendantes qui accèdent chacune sur une des deux terrasses (terrasse Nord), elles sont séparées par un mur porteur et les portes coulissantes donnent sur le couloir qui conduit aux toilettes ou à la salle de bain. L'appartement est très spacieux et très intime pour deux couples et le salon cuisine donne sur l'autre grande terrasse SUD de 30 m2. Nous avons pris en compte vos remarques.

Absolutely Superb Accommodation
Henri was the perfect host and he went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. If contacted, his response was immediate. The apartment was immaculate. The two large balconies provided us with a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful scenery while dining or relaxing after long days of exploring. This apartment is the only one in the building so, consequently, it was very quiet. The kitchen had a huge gas stove with an electric oven and a full sized fridge, microwave and toaster oven. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, dishes, utensils and a marvellous coffee maker. The bedrooms were large and bright and both opened onto one of the balconies. The bathroom had two sinks, a wonderful walk-in shower and a separate toilet. Wifi, and a large television and sound system were available in the living area. Air conditioners were available in both bedrooms plus the main part of the house. The washer and drying rack were well used. The apartment was perfectly located and we could walk to the train station in 5 minutes and to the downtown area with all of the shops and restaurants in 10 minutes. This apartment was perfect for us and we would like to thank Henri for helping to make our stay in Narbonne perfect!

Very nice top floor flat (with lift plus one set of stairs to the top floor) overlooking the cathedral. Industrial chic meets mid-century modern. All amenities, including new appliances. Henri was a great host. Can't wait to go back.

Most beautiful aparatment in Narbonne
beautifully decorated and appointed. Quiet location that is close to everything you need including groceries, boulangerie, bus and train station. the 2 balconies loaded with plants were pure pleasure! the apartment was well equiped with everything you could need - it's always nice when there are plenty of towels and blankets!

Eine perfekte Woche in Narbonne!
Ein tolles Apartment, clever und modern eingerichtet. Alles Nötige vorhanden, wie im Inserat beschrieben. Zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig (4. Etage). Wundervoller Blick von der Terrasse auf die Kathedrale. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für € 9 die Nacht (Karte von Henri) kann man schräg gegenüber im Parkhaus parken.

Nous venons de passer quelques journées très agréables dans le superbe appartement d'Henri Alengry. Tout a été parfait : le cadre fabuleux autant par la vue sur la majestueuse cathédrale St-Just, les meubles chinés avec soin, l'appartement très bien agencé et décoré. Un équipement sans faille et une propreté irréprochable. Notre hôte a été très prévenant et accueillant. Je ne peux que recommander ce lieu pour partir à la découverte de Narbonne et des alentours.

Fabulous Spot in Narbonne
The pictures do not do this place justice. It is in a wonderful locations, the core of Narbonne is easy walking distance in all directions. Henri and Chantal have done a wonderful job with this spot, lots of nice, artistic touches and great attention to detail. The view of the cathedral from the terrace is fantastic and a great place to have a glass or two of wine in the evening. Henri was very responsive and helpful with the few questions we had. Their place is a easy 5 star winner!

Appartement exceptionnel !
L'appartement d'Henri est absolument parfait. La décoration est magnifique, il est très bien équipé (rien ne manque), tout est très bien pensé pour passer un merveilleux séjour. Et les deux terrasses sont exceptionnelles !! D'un point de vu pratique, il est possible de se garer au pied de l'immeuble ainsi que dans le parking souterrain juste en face. Le centre ville de Narbonne est à deux pas, les commerces aussi. Allez-y les yeux fermés, en plus Henry est un hôte au petit soin !

Perfekt!
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Henry war sehr herzlich. Mein Mann hatte bei der Ankunft starke Rückenschmerzen und Henry hat uns die Koffer bis in die Wohnung geschleppt. Lift bis in den 3. Stock vorhanden, danach noch eine Treppe bis zur Wohnung. Nochmals herzlichen Dank Henry! Die Wohnung ist sehr angenehm. Alles was man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt, ist vorhanden. Die Fotos wiederspiegeln das Appartement vollends. Die Wohnung befindet sich zuoberst in einem Bürogebäude. Ruhe garantiert. Das gegenüberliegende Parkhaus ist perfekt. Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist unbedingt die Parkmöglichkeit mit Henry organisieren. Klappt bestens. Die Wohnung ist hochwertig eingerichtet, die Betten sind bequem, die beiden Terrassen wunderschön mit Kakteen und genialem Blick auf die Kathedrale sowie auf den Hügelzug "La Clape". Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen und kommen bestimmt gerne wieder.

A Wonderful base in Narbonne
Four of us spent a thoroughly enjoyable week here. The flat is spacious and comfortable, with terraces on either side providing plenty of outdoor space and a welcome through breeze. The decor was interesting and the kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally spacious. The views of the cathedral, especially at twilight, with jackdaws wheeling around the towers, were stunning. Would definitely visit again. Henri was really helpful for all our queries and even met us at the train station to bring us to the nearby flat in person. Narbonne is a beautiful, low-key town and we hired bikes or took buses to explore the region - we even swam at Gruissan Plage in October due to the very sunny weather. All in all, a great holiday

Fremragende lejlighed med alle nødvendige faciliteter.
Super god lejlighed, med to gode soveværelser, stue, stort bad, stort køkken og to meget anvendelige terrasser. Nem og billig parkering foran ejendommen. Lejligheden ligger øverst og er ugeneret på alle måder.

Die Bilder sprechen für sich - das Apartment / Loft ist wirklich außergewöhnlich - sehr geschmackvoll und stylish eingerichtet mit dem wohl schönsten Blick, den man in Narbonne haben kann. Wir haben unsere Abende auf der Terrasse geliebt, so ein Ausblick hat man wirklich nicht alle Tage... Henri ist zudem ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Narbonne ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um diese wunderschöne Gegend zu erkunden. Wir sagen an dieser Stelle noch einmal DANKE für eine sehr schöne Ferienwoche, in der es uns an nichts gefehlt hat.

A superb apartment on a great location
We stayed 6 nights here and really enjoyed the apartment . We had a mix of weather so if was great to chill with loads of space great views and a well appointed kitchen . We stated to feel like locals . Being so close to the train station was also a bonus as we dodo t have a car .

This is a great place. We could not have been happier. Henri met us at the apartment and walked us around to show us the layout. The apartment is huge and has two terraces that let in an abundance of light. Location cannot be better. Everything you need is in the apartment. Very happy we stayed here.

Henri, the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating -- the perfect host. The apartment is splendid in every way: spacious, well-equipped, comfortable furnishings and beds, large bathroom, great view of the cathedral, very centrally located to the historic city center. The apartment is decorated in a stylish avante-garde style. The kitchen is superb. We cooked every meal, and found it to be very well-equipped. We are a family of 5, and were very comfortable for our stay of 4 nights. Highly recommended!

Henri's loft is truly outstanding. Wonderful location in a quiet building (with elevator!) in Narbonne's historic center. Beautifully furnished, fabulous, industrial-inspired design, incredible kitchen, TWO terraces - who could ask for anything more? Highly recommended!

Cool apartment in a great location
Cool modern and well-equipped apartment only 5 mins walk from central Narbonne and the train station / auto-train with lovely terrace / views over the city. A great place to hang out (kitchen is particularly well-equipped and with a Carrefour local + great markets nearby ver easy to self-cater in style) and very well-placed to explore the city on foot. Thanks Henri for a very warm and helpful welcome too, we hope to visit again.

Alles was das Urlaubsherz begehrt!
Wunderschöner Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern und bietet jeden Comfort. Sehr schöne und wirklich luxuriöse Einrichtung. Henri ist ein sehr sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Der Standort ist hervorragend um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Abseits des Touritriubels von Narbonne Plage lebt man mitten unter den Einheimischen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die wirklich tollen Markthallen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben die von Henri angebotene Möglichkeit des Parkens im gegenüberliegenden Parkhaus genutzt und empfehlen diese weiter. Henri, c'était vraiment un plaisir ! Nous reviendrons!

Très bel endroit!
Appartement très beau, bien équipé et très agréable pour passer quelques jours. Les terrasses sont un plus pour se poser après nos balades et la vue sur la cathédrale est unique. Bonne situation pour visiter Narbonne à pied et pour quitter la ville afin d'explorer la région en voiture. Propriétaire sympa et confiant. Super séjour !

Genialissime!!!

The best!
This was the nicest rental we have ever had. The apartment is superbly located 5 minutes from the center. It is spacious, clean, very well equipped and stunning. Henri was kind enough to meet our train, get us settled in and even arranged a hard-to-get dentist appointment for my husband who broke a tooth on the train. We hope to return next year.

We had a very good stay, Henri picked us up from the station and took us to the appartment and showed us around. The appartment more than fulfilled our expectations, the kitchen was very well equipped and everywhere was very comfortable. The view over to the Cathedral and rooftops was excellent. We really enjoyed watching the jackdaws displaying around the Cathedral each evening. We found transport, shopping, bars and restaurants in Narbonne very accessible and had a very restful stay.

Außergewöhnliche Wohnung im Herzen von Narbonne
Tolle, hochwertige, mit vielen netten Details und sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung im Herzen von Narbonne. Zu Fuß erreicht man die Innenstadt und die kulturellen Einrichtungen der Stadt sowie die Markthalle in nur wenigen Minuten. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse auf die Kathedrale ist fantastisch. Empfehlenswert und praktisch ist die zwar kostenpflichtige Parkkarte für das Parkhaus auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Henri ist ein sehr sympathischer Vermieter. Die Strände in Narbonne-Plage bzw. Gruissan sind in ca. 15 Autominuten erreichbar. Wer gerne Meeresfrüchte oder Austern essen möchte, dem sei die "Cambuse du Saunier" in Gruissan empfohlen. Wir hatten zu viert eine schöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder...
