relax by the sea

Very bright and ventilated apartment, has been completely renovated and acclimatized. Entrance into a very large living room with TV and sofa bed, to one side a very large kitchen which leads to a small uncovered terrace with a external shower and sink, on the front a balcony with small table. To complete two bathrooms, one with shower, closet-wardrobe, and three bedrooms.

Situated in a quiet street with little traffic but within a few meters (200) from the center.

Nearby there are grocery stores, greengrocers, butchers, fish shops, a bakery, a drugstore, kiosks, tobacco shops, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, bike rental, an outdoor market on Sunday mornings.

The sea waters are crystal clear and you can take a bath from the low cliffs, fishing or observing the fabulous sunsets over the sea.

At about 200 meters there is a beach equipped with lovely natural bays between the rocks where children can safely take a bath.

Within 300 meters there is a sandy beach with a kiosk where you can rent umbrellas, beach chairs, sunbeds, pedal boats and other equipment to practice your favorite water sports.

Around 1.5 km starts also a long beach.



By car: Highways up to Bari: both the A1 from Milan Rome Naples Bari that the “Adriatica” Bologna Ancona Bari from Bari the freeway to Brindisi Lecce Gallipoli. From freeway to Gallipoli take the exit Galatone Santa Maria al Bagno, and then “Quattro Colonne”.

By plain: arrival at the airport of Brindisi (distance from Santa Maria al Bagno Km 60). There is a shuttle service up to the terminal of Lecce where there are also busses to Santa Maria al Bagno. Rent a car or local transport.

By train: arrival at the railway station of Lecce and then local bus up to Nardò and S. Maria al Bagno,



Thanks to the nearby freeway it is possible to reach every site of Salento. Lecce with its baroque style is only at 40 Km.

Otranto on the other side, the Adriatic, at 45 Km.

Gallipoli is only ten minutes away by car.

Within a few km north ways of Santa Maria al Bagno is located the natural park of Porto Selvaggio with 400 hectares of pine forest and 7 km of breathtaking coastline. In the village there is also a museum that collects testimonials of thousands of Jewish Holocaust survivors that passed through Santa Maria al Bagno between 1943 and 1947.
