Casa Nachiro is a unique historic house located in the heart of the historic center of Nardò, one of the most beautiful old towns in Salento, Puglia. This extraordinary charming residence is housed in a 17th-century underground olive oil mill built into the ancient Norman walls of the city, dating back to the 12th century, in the evocative former Jewish Quarter.

Staying at Casa Nachiro means stepping back in time, immersed in an authentic atmosphere where the intimate warmth of a traditional Salento home blends with the timeless charm of a historic olive oil mill. Guests enjoy a truly unique historic stay surrounded by stone architecture, history, and the serene beauty of southern Italy.

The house has been carefully restored to accommodate up to four guests. The living area, once used for pressing and decanting Salento’s precious olive oil, now features an open-concept stone kitchenette, a comfortable relaxation corner, and an alcove with a French double bed.

The bedroom, where the large stone millstone once crushed the olives, is the most fascinating room in the house and welcomes guests with a spacious queen-size bed surrounded by beautiful historic stone walls.

The bathroom area consists of two separate rooms: one with a full bathroom and one with a shower. A fully equipped laundry area and a small storage room complete the house.

The atmosphere is cool, welcoming, elegant, and relaxing, featuring soft colors, natural fabrics, antique furniture, prints, and carefully selected objects that preserve the rustic charm of this extraordinary historic residence in Salento.
