Beautiful place -great location
This home is the prefect place for visiting Nashville. Close to the old opry an ca. 10 miles to city centre Doug and Darolyne make perfect hosts and the home is making you feel home.

What an amazing property! The pictures certainly didn't do it justice. When we first got there, we were blown away by how beautiful it was. And the welcoming committee (Vandy!) made the experience even more awesome. The hosts were wonderful, and very friendly and welcoming. They certainly made us feel special while we were staying there. The location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. Opryland was a stone's throw away, and the Two Rivers Park was beautiful for a nice stroll. There was a grocery store just up the street, easy access to all the major highways, and central for a ton of fun. We can't say enough great things about this place. We only hope that the next time we're in Nashville, we're able to stay here again.

Fun in Nashville
The property is super cute and comfortable. The screened deck is a lovely place to sit with a coffee in the morning. the hosts were easy to communicate with. The property is about 20 mins from downtown which is lovely as you can get away from the crazy. It’s 10 mins from Opreyland. Would definitely return.

We had a relaxing stay at 2 Rivers. We loved sitting in the enclosed porch in the morning with coffee & late afternoon with wine. It’s a good place to recharge after a busy & loud time in Nashville. The birds in the backyard are amazing. The porch could use a clean-up & rescreening.

We decided to stay here instead of with the others at opryland. Where the conference was. It saved about half the price with only a five minute commute to and from the conference. It was a beautiful place with such a nice relaxing atmosphere. The only thing I would of changed was the air freshener as it was a strong masculine cologne smell that did not agree well with my asthma. That is just a personal preference however. Other wise we are very happy and would definitely stay there again when we come back!

We loved the place. All the personal touches were appreciated. Would loved to have had a king instead of a queen, but we did well. We had to leave one nihht earlier than planned because my dad took a bad turn at the hospital over the weekend and we barely made it back before he died. Sad ending but we enjoyed what time we had . Darling Place and Amazing Location
We loved staying here! It was really close to everything we wanted to see in Nashville yet was charming and quaint. We couldn't help but picture ourselves living there and loved the owners dogs! Would stay here again.

Fantastic property and hosts
Our second time staying here, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The unit has everything a family could need for an extended stay, with many thoughtful additions. We didn't need a crib or pack-and-play, but it was very nice that the unit had them. Plenty of kitchenware, movies, books, puzzles, toys, and anything else you could want. Extremely convenient to Opry and downtown, but in a quiet rural location. This is a great VRBO location, which we highly recommend.

Birthday Stay
I came to Nashville with my girlfriend for her 21st birthday and this place was absolutely perfect for us. We only stayed two nights, but I wish it could have been a week. Doug and Darolyn provided a place that was clean, comfortable, and had far more than we needed. My only regret is that we didn't spend more time on the patio in the back. Also, if you're concerned about parking in an unfamiliar city, this is the place for you. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the hosts provide parking more private than where they park.

Nashville Getaway!
Awesome property to stay at in Nashville! Short driving to distance to anything downtown and conveniently located right off of Hwy 155. Opryland, The Gaylord and Opry Mills are only 5 minutes down the road. House was super cozy, clean and had plenty of amenities. Fireplace was wonderful and added to our Christmas ambiance! Plenty of closetspace and extra linens and towels. We always got a prompt reponse from the owner about any question we had. Their food suggestions were delicious! We weren't able to use the firepit, but it looked very inviting. This property definitely deserves the 5 star review!

MLB Winter Meetings in Nashville
What a nice place to stay! This house was everything I hoped it would be. Beautiful views over the Cumberland River. Cozy living room with a gas fireplace made early morning coffee and evenings in the living room super relaxing. I look forward to visiting Nashville again in the future - they say first impressions are priceless and this VRBO made my first trip to Nashville very memorable.

Pleasant and quiet suburban neighborhood but you do have to drive or take an Uber or cab to get to attractions and local conveniences. Very well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Two-piece bathroom in sleeping loft was a helpful amenity.

Lovely VRBO in a good location for the Grand Ole Opry
This property is decorated beautifully! Parking is just outside the entrance to the home which is in a nice neighborhood. The kitchen is well-equipped and there were plenty of towels and linens. Activity and restaurant suggestions offered by the owners in the notebook they created were very helpful. We especially appreciated being able to check in a bit early and to drive just a few miles to the Grand Ole Opry. It was a joy to return to such a lovely home at the end of our days in Nashville.

Safe, adorable, close to everything
We were in town for a conference at the Opryland Resort so my husband was able to easily drop me off and then he and kids did tourist things during the day. Everything was a close drive and easy in-out. The only bummer was the adorable porch had a lot of cobwebs. The weather had been humid so I'm sure not many people were using the porch but we'd have enjoyed sitting out there more had it been less "buggy". Otherwise everything else was great.

Fantastic stay!!
The location of the retreat to what we wanted in Nashville was superb! The retreat was very clean and welcoming. Everything worked well inside the retreat. When Doug and Darolyn say in the description that the kitchen is stocked, they aren't joking! There are even some staple items in the cupboards and refrigerator for your use. The beds were very comfortable and welcoming, especially arriving there after camping in a tent for 4 nights. The only complaint i would have is the oven door opens harder than i am use to. I am not sure if that is how it is or if it is not working properly. I just moved my cooking to the stove and it all worked out. Overall, we had a very nice stay at the retreat and will DEFINITELY look into staying here, if we ever get to Nashville again!

We enjoyed our time in our home away from home in Nashville. We had a great time seeing all the sites we came to see and it was always nice to come home for a peaceful evening. We knew nothing about Nashville, so just hoped for the best when we rented here. Everything was great.
