ABOUT THIS SPACE
A Natures Getaway is nestled in the woods in a quiet setting within 4 miles of the heart of Nashville. The space is decorated cute and the space is cozy, comfy and homey. Newly renovated charming 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, Kitchenette, and an outdoor patio sitting area.
Downtown Nashville and the Brown County Playhouse are about a 7 minute drive away while the Brown County Music Center and Hard Truth Distillery are also a short drive away.

THE SPACE
The space is 3 acres of open beautiful woods and open nature and a couple of short walking trails. There is a covered patio with comfortable seating for four. There is a kitchenettle that has the necessities for cooking a simple meal. The kitchenette is provided with a refridgerator, microwave, plates/silverware/glassware, a keurig coffee pot with pods and water, an air fryer and a toaster.
There is a Blackstone grill, charcoal grill and a propane fireplace with seating.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a full tile shower walls and glass doors. Shamppo/Conditioner/bodywash are provided. There is also an iron and a blow dryer provided.
In the winter, my husband has a skid steer that he clears the snow with so winter months are accessible.

GUEST ACCESS
Full access to the lower level of the house (1200 sq ft), covered patio, yard, creek and short walking trails.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Bloomington, IU Campus, Monroe Lake, Lake Lemon are also about a 15-30 mintue drive away.
Indianapolis International Airport is less than an hour away.
We do have 3 beautiful German Shepherds. They are the most friendly and caring dogs and they LOVE having guests.

This is great place to stay in Brown County. Don and Teresa are very friendly and great hosts. I almost reserved another VRBO property in downtown Nashville, but so glad I chose this one. It's a very cozy and clean place. There's a nice outside area with a gas firepit. It's close to Nashville, Brown County State Park and Hard Truth Distillery. If you like being close to things but off the beaten path this is the place to stay

This was the perfect Nashville getaway! The host, Teresa, was accommodating and friendly. Her space made us feel right at home - it was super cozy and tucked away in a quiet spot less than 10 minutes from the Nashville strip. It was the ideal balance of peace and proximity to all the action. My mom and I had such a lovely stay, we’re already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend!

I have stayed in many Vrbo properties and this was hands down the most amazing experience I have had with a stay. Theresa and Don were fantastic hosts, they thought of every detail and were absolutely wonderful in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is absolutely beautiful and the house if cozy, welcoming, and warm. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and we will most definitely be staying again.

This was not a house or kitchenette. This was the bottom of somebody’s house their basement. The family stayed upstairs and we were downstairs. Felt a little bit uncomfortable with somebody being upstairs above us. This did not have a kitchen it was just a bar and had a small refrigerator. No ice machine. They brought you ice when you called them. There was no blinds on the doors so we felt uncomfortable about that. The listing did not say you were in a basement. It made you sound like you had a house to stay in.. They had three big German shepherd dogs, but they were very nice. We did hear the dogs and family upstairs we could hear them talking upstairs and we did hear the dogs barking and you could hear the dogs walking on the floor upstairs. The family was very nice people. This is not what we expected to rent. This was a trip for me and my sister we usually cook our own meals. Thank God we went to see the place before we went to the grocery store or we would’ve wasted a bunch of money because the refrigerator was not big enough to put a lot of food in. But I can say the family was very nice and it was very clean.

Stayed here for the holiday weekend and it was perfect! Off the grid and away from the chaos of the state park and downtown Nashville, which was awesome. Teresa and Don are the most accommodating hosts! Always willing to go extra mile if we needed anything, came by to chat it up and make recommendations for places to eat and shop! They have coupons for nearby tours at Hard Truth as well. They have three cute pups who are super friendly on the property as well. Stayed warm by the fire on the cool evenings too! Look forward to coming down again and staying in the future

The property was lovely and off the beaten path. Close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough for peace and quiet. The owners, Don and Teresa, are wonderful people and made us feel right at home. It's a shame we only stayed for one night before heading south. We will definitely be booking here in the future. This 2-bedroom house was absolutely perfect! You are made to feel more like friends than strangers. You feel welcomed and even are given recommendations on the places to visit while you are staying there. Teresa and Don were absolutely AMAZING! And they have super cute fur babies that come and greet you when they see you outside. 10/10 would recommend this property if you are looking for somewhere to stay that feels like home. We will defiantly be back.
