Nice property. Information online is accurate regarding house and driveway - it is steep. Would use this house again if we ever get back to Nashville.

Driveway should be mentioned in the beginning, that was the steepest driveway I've ever been on. Location to everything was good. Deck was very recently painted, sticky shoes with leaves. House was okay.

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Cost isn't that much more than a 3 star hotel. House is on the older side but clean and well appointed. Host is friendly and easy to get a hold of. Only real gripe is lawn service woke us up mowing lawn at 7am.

Perfect Nashville Location
The Red House is close to everything we wanted to experience in the Nashville area and gave us the opportunity to see and do so much because of its location. Even though it was just the two of us this house would be so great for a larger group. It’s really spacious and open and set up really well. The home is tucked away in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. My husband and I spent time on the screened in porch drinking our coffee and listening to the birds. The house was clean and well stocked and completely met our needs. We were able to cook some meals in the home and not have to eat out every day. We also had a few popcorn nights while watching tv in the loft. Kroger and Walgreens are literally right up the street. And the owner was extremely easy to communicate with. We were even able to check in an hour early. We highly recommend this home for your vacation.

Nice Nashville Getaway
We stayed here this past October. The home is located n a quiet golf community about 15 minute drive from Nashville. The home was nicely laid out, very comfortable, and well stocked. The only issue we had was the outside patio had not been cleaned. It’s a very quaint, quiet area we were looking forward to using. I texted the lender and got a response right away. Not only did they come and clean it themselves, but the owner also bought us dinner for the inconvenience. Total class and we really appreciate it. I would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nicely located with bonus bedroom
Great Thanksgiving week with our son and daughters family. Enjoyed the two living rooms which gave our grandsons 5 yrs old twins and 3 yr old places to play. There wasn’t any games for them so ordered the magnetic tiles that arrived the next day. We brought 3 puzzles for them and one trip to Walmart.. The boys had fun playing in the back yard and taking walks around the neighborhood. Loved the fact that the 4th bedroom gave them their own room. Several days it turned cold so the house was large enough for 8 people to spread out. The driveway was the steepest we have ever seen. Kept the least used car in garage, any other car made sure rocks were under tires while parked with parking brake. Neighbor up the street stated cars along road have been hit because of curve. Easy to get around the neighborhood and quick to grocery. One of our trips was a quick drive East, over the bridge to state park. Such a wonderful view with rock cliffs along the river. Only took 15 mins to get to it.

Second time staying here, great location near airport and golf course and Krogers. Nice neighborhood. T was easy to work with and responds quickly to any concerns... Only negatives were beds..mattresses could use updating and better lighting is needed over or by kitchen table;very dark there at night

Girls Birthday Get away
This was a beautiful place with plenty of room for 6 adult women. The place was in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to the airport and grocery store. The only downside that we were warned about before booking was that there is no street parking and the driveway was a steep incline. After a couple of days we figured out a way to sort of give our brakes a rest and made it work for us. we parked the second car up the drive way at an angle as to took some of the strain off the transmission and brakes when releasing the emergency brake. A skilled driver would know what to do and how to do it. Any minor issues we had while staying at the house was promptly addressed and sought after by the host.

Family Reunion
The house was in a quiet neighborhood and close to downtown Nashville. It was also close to a grocery store, so we were able to stock up on snacks and coffee when we arrived. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us, and the TV room upstairs was a comfortable place to play cards and watch TV.

Th Red House in Nashville is conveniently located near the airport and downtown entertainment. Plenty of room and home is in a beautiful area. Property owner very helpful and responded quickly to my questions about the amenities on several occasions before our stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Nashville!

Perfect little house
This house worked out incredibly well for our needs. It was just a couple miles from our sports facility and the shopping and food amenities are in very close proximity. The kids really enjoyed riding their bikes in the neighborhood and even discovered a local snapping turtle! Very quiet and safe neighborhood. The only recommendation I have to all homeowners of rental properties Is that they provide slightly more toilet paper when accommodating larger groups as well as some very basics: bread, milk, coffee. This house had no coffee and we got in after midnight Wednesday night. It would have been nice to wake up Thursday morning to coffee and toast. We didn’t have time to go to the grocery store to prepare ourselves for that Thursday morning so we ended up at Starbucks. After that, Kroger‘s was right down the street and the house had everything we needed to cook up great meals. The loft space above was perfect for the kids and the bedrooms were cozy and quiet. The Red House was bright and the screened patio made morning coffee time serene.

Thank you for the nice review, we're so happy you enjoyed your stay. In an effort to keep our rates low, we provide a "starter supply" of paper goods, but will look into providing more toilet paper. Unfortunately, local regulations prohibit us from providing any food for guests. Thanks again for choosing The Red House!

Girls trip
The house was clean..the upstairs sitting area is where we hung out at night it is very close to down town and the airport making Uber affordable.. the drive way and walk way are steep but did not find that to be an issue...for the price we rented for the house was perfect there are parts that are outdated but that didn’t bother us at all.. they leave a nice notebook telling you how to use things and menus to close restaurants if u want to order in. I would stay here again!!! And for the comment previously put on her about the upstairs room being hot if u turn on the wall u it I. There and close the door when we came back from running around it was an ice box in there and there is a fan right by the loft that kept the house cool

The city of Nashville was wonderful
Our stay at the red house was okay. It was a nice distance from downtown and near several beautiful state parks. The house itself was not great for the money we spent. We had plenty of space. It was not very clean and the house needs a bit of work. The kitchen faucet constantly ran, one of the burners on the stove didn't work, the carpet in the bedrooms had stains, the TV has white dots I. The screen and the garbage cans in the garage where completely full when we arrived. With that said our family did have a wonderful time while we were there exploring the city.

We're sincerely sorry that your stay was only okay, we want all of our guests to have a great experience. Our regular housekeeper was out and a substitute cleaned right before your stay. I wish we had known while you were here and we could have rectified the problems. We will not use that substitute again. The Red House was just as described. A perfect place to relax and plan the day's activities. Beds were great and the kitchen was fully equipped. We asked for and got a late checkout because no one was coming in directly behind us. If going back to Nashville I would definitely stay here again

Nashville Hide Away
Had a great stay at this house while visiting Nashville. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown when your day came to an end. Neighbor was very nice and quite. House had all the ammenties that you would need on your get away. Would stay here again.

Happy anniversary
The house had all we needed. But there are a few suggestions. First buy better garbage bags cheap ones just cause a mess. Second provide more toilet paper. 6 adults for 6 days takes more than 3 rolls. Nothing worse than running out when you really need it. Otherwise the house was great. We will use the red house in our next trip to Nashville. Thank you for sharing your home.

The house was very comfortable with 6 adults.
My only complaint was the toilet in the master bath. It ran constantly unless you lifted the lid to fix the stopper. Other than that, we were very comfortable here. The owner was very accommodating and easy to contact and deal with. We really enjoyed sitting on the open screened patio, watching the squirrels and chipmunks.

I really can't say enough good things about this place
We had 6 adults (family) and an infant in this home and it was great. Location was perfect for us, super close to the airport and an easy drive to the city. It was clean, communication was great, very accomidating and had everything for our needs. Driveway is steep, keep that in mind, but overall it's a very quaint house in a quiet safe neighborhood.

Family friendly neighborhood.
It only took me 3 minutes to decide why I no longer enjoy hotel accommodations. The decor and layout is much the same as my own home. Location to the airport was less than 10 minute drive. I chose this home for our family reunion and it provided everything we needed. The fact that it's called the Red house is an understatement. No matter the time of day, you will always enjoy coming home. Looking forward to his home for our sons wedding in 2018. Thanks again

Spacious and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at the red house. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us, more spacious than it seemed from the pictures. The upstairs loft was a great place to hang out together while the living room and bedrooms could be used for quiet time. The beds were comfortable, all the amenities were in place. The location was convenient to downtown but also the parks and local attractions that tended to be on the East side of town.

I guess the only thing would be the beds. The single bed upstairs was not comfortable at all so my one daughter slept on the couch upstairs. The bed in the master bedroom is not very comfortable but it worked. The remainder of the house was excellent and worked out great for the give of us.

Nice location, needs a good cleaning, be prepared for the driveway!
We stayed at the Red House for 5 nights. The neighborhood is nice and about 15-20 minutes from downtown. The house is in need of interior painting and a good cleaning. It was spacious enough for 5 adults and two kids. The twin beds upstairs were box springs with foam pads on top so the kids ended up sleeping on the couch. The driveway is extremely steep and hard for older people to navigate. The yard wasn't cleaned up and the patio needs some TLC. The owner was very responsive to the minor issue we had with the wifi.

Good location ~ Clean Property
Five of our children (ages 14-20) along with the two of us stayed at The Red House for a week for Spring Break. It was a great location to just relax and then head to nearby attractions during the day. We found the property to be well-kept, stocked reasonably, and the refund was processed before we even got home on the same day we left! The property manager was quick to respond to questions and helpful in working through a change in dates when we accidentally booked for the wrong month initially. Nice house and the location is perfect. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room.
We had a nice stay. House was accommodating for what you would need my only complaints would be i think the cleaning crew could spend a little more time on the bathrooms. And when it rains outside the window in master bedroom all you hear is tink, tink, tink, all night rather annoying just something that could be looked into. Otherwise great house I would recommend staying if you are in area.

Convenient and Spacious Home
Recently my wife and I spent four nights in Nashville at the Red House with three friends(plus their wives) who had been stationed with me in Turkey. Our stay was greatly enhanced by our accommodations and roominess of the Nashboro home we rented. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the house especially the living room space along with the upstairs tv parlor. The bedrooms and the kitchen were nicely kept and had had all the necessary provisions needed by a party of seven. Some of us chatted in the den while others went outside to the screened in porch. Terje and the administration of VRBO made all the arrangements easy to finalize and we never had a single problem the whole time we were there. Very comfortable and convenient to downtown!
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay! There were 8 of us altogether. The house was well stock, clean and very comfortable for two families. The kids especially enjoyed the upstairs area. We were in town for a convention at music city center. It was a 20 minute commute with traffic in the evening. Not too bad! Thanks for a great stay!

Overall nice property
The location of the Red House was perfect for what we were looking for. It was about a 12-15 minute drive to downtown Nashville. However, be sure you're prepared to pay for parking when visiting downtown Nashville, unless you want to walk a great distance. The Red House driveway is on a VERY steep hill. You'll need to be prepared to use your parking break. ;) The room upstairs only has a window A/C unit, so it does get pretty warm during the day, and the upstairs loft gets warm, also. However, they do provide box fans for use upstairs that help cool it down. The main TV in the house is also in the loft, so plan accordingly if you have small children that you don't want to risk falling down the stairs or fitting through the railings.
