Wow, I wouldn’t want to stay there if the place was really like that! We have been hosting for 13 years, and we pride ourselves on the appearance, cleanliness, and livability of Timber Ridge, as evidenced by all of the five star reviews. It seems like another property was reviewed, not ours. Dirty appliances? No, they’re extremely clean. Sagging bed, grill inoperable, and that other people have reported this? No the grill works just fine (just tried it), the bed does not sag, and if you look at past reviews you will see that no one has said anything like this. In fact, the number one thing people say is how clean the unit is. Shower is not moldy, wine glasses do not have old wine in them. Every once in a while the drain to the tub gets slow, and we pour Drano in it ( just did that). This guest never told us this even though we live on the premises. And the sofa is several years old, but is very comfortable.

We appreciate all reviews, but we want to be sure others who would read this review will not be misinformed. The reasons this guest cited for giving a not-so-positive review are all things that we advertise in our description. We’re sorry this guest found space smaller than expected, but the square footage is listed in our description. I think this is the first time we have ever gotten a comment such as this. As far as the bed, this guest told us after their stay that they are used to a king size bed; but we actually advertise that is a queen size bed. While it is true that the thermostat is controlled by us, we ask guests, this guest included, where they would like the temperature set, and that is where we set it.
