Maria and her husband and furry companion are welcome any time they so choose to stay in the cabin by the creek! Perfect guests -

Tracy never responded to my messages regarding a thankful greeting, and entry instructions to the cabin. Normally, I receive something from my guests. The cabin rules were not followed; for instance, I recycle and provide a bin to place such items. There were plastic bottles on the floor in two rooms, and trash on and underneath the couch, and by the bed. Nobody in two and a half years of offering my cabin as a possible overnight destination, has left it in such poor shape! I let my guests know that it is my responsibility to clean the cabin, and they are on vacation, etcetera, but that does not give them license to leave it trashed. The sink was full of dishes, and cooked food was left in the refrigerator. There was a fair amount of dog food scattered on the floor as well. Items in the cabin were moved and not put back - a little distressing to say the least, only because I take great pride in what I offer to the public. I lived in the cabin for many years! I would not recommend hosting Tracy to anyone, and do not want her business ever again!

I feel great pride and satisfaction when I have guests like Jan and her husband stay in my cabin, because, I genuinely sense that they appreciate being there, in that setting, and so, treat my place as they would theirs. I recommend to all Innkeepers, to welcome these folks into their establishments anytime! I hope they return some day! I wish I could give them more than five stars!

Cassi's dog peed twice on the kitchen carpet. By the time I discovered the urine, it had dried, proving impossible to remove the odor. I had to replace the rug, because I know that the next dog that stays in the cabin, will most likely pee on the same spot. That's just what dogs do. I allow pets simply because I know how much the mean to their owners, and want to offer a place for the entire family to stay. But I am terribly disappointed that Cassi and her traveling companion did not notice these two incidents. I will continue to allow pets, but can only hope that this unfortunate incident is never repeated!

You and yours are the consummate guests. Grateful and respectful, and invited to return any time you so chose! Thank you for gracing my cabin with your positive energy and humbleness!

Nick was an exceptional guest who left little trace of his brief stay, and I welcome him back anytime!

Susan and her husband represent what makes this endeavor worthwhile; guests that are down to earth and humble and grateful for simply being! I noticed sticks laying around and perhaps strategically placed; evidence of a youngster having fun in the woods and along the creek! Please come visit again. The cabin was left in great shape!

Donald and his wife, and three babies (four legged and furry in nature), were wonderful guests in the cabin. The space was left spotless, and I hope they choose to return for some more thunder storm and sunshine and creek play, some day!

It's a Joy for me to prepare the cabin for the next guests arrival, when the previous guests feel compelled to leave it as much as possible, as they found it! It's kind of like walking in a beautiful wilderness; you want to leave no trace of having ever been there, out of respect of the beauty and glory of it all! Tracy left the cabin spotless -
