Blue Birds Beach House, paradise break right on the beach with a heated pool

Blue Birds Beach House is a large beachfront Villa with gated entrance offering 70 feet of secluded and quiet beach waterfront. One of the last few natural sandy beaches in New Providence, Bahamas.

Enjoy the beautiful scenic views from the second-floor balcony of the ocean and colorful sunsets. The fenced back yard opens directly onto the sandy beach, the shallow and normally calm waters are great for children, snorkeling and kayaking.

Once you're done at the beach enjoy the outdoor heated pool and pool side bar or bbq. End the day with a game of billiards on the balcony while watching the sunset over the beach.

This two-story house with 6 bedrooms can accommodate up to 10-12 guests. With four bedrooms upstairs, 2 with ensuite bathrooms which also open up to the balcony in the back and two with a shared full bathroom. The downstairs has an additional room with murphy bed, another bathroom game room, spacious living room and full kitchen. Laundry with washer and dryer are also available on the main floor.

This house offers all the amenities required to experience a real beach getaway vacation. With a large selection of movies, games and internet you are sure to find what you need to unwind and relax.

Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Bird Beach house. The location is fantastic - pool and beach side, what more could you ask for! We basically had the entire beach to ourselves most days as well! The south side of the island is definitely the sunny side of the island! Robbie was fantastic to deal with - always checking in with us and quick to respond if we needed anything. There is plenty of space and kitchen is well stocked with everything you should need! The only thing that we noticed is the hot water would run out quite quickly after 2 showers and then resulting no hot water for dishes. As well the dishwasher wasn’t the greatest but these are minor things! Overall I would highly recommend this house! Do not hesitate.

We loved our stay at the Blue Birds Beach House! We loved it so much we hardly left the property! The hosts have thought of everything and we appreciated all the little details! There were kayaks for exploring and pool floaties to use at the pool. Beach chairs and umbrellas if you venture off site are so nice to have. There are games, puzzles, movies galore, billiards, videogames and darts. Our family of 8 and a toddler were never bored and loved just relaxing and enjoying everything the villa had to offer! We did bring in groceries and usually ate at the villa as most restaurants are a bit of a drive away and we hated to miss sunset at the villa! Dont miss out on this opportunity to stay at a beautiful villa with the quietest beach on the island! You wont regret it!!

Amazing beach house! It was the perfect set up for our group of 6 adults and 1 kid. The location was safe and quiet, amenities/features galore, well-equipped kitchen, large balcony, covered outdoor patio & furniture, beautiful beach, great pool, etc. We had plenty of space to hang out everywhere! Beautiful beach getaway

We went to the Bahamas with our best friends to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and our 20 th wedding anniversary. The Blue Birds Beach House was the perfect place. Plenty of space for all of us and the house had tons of extras and a beautiful view of the beach. The owners were very responsive and we had a great time.

I can't say enough about this property and our hosts! Our expectations were exceeded! We used the pack the pantry service, so when we arrived all our food/drinks were put away. It was an easy drive to everywhere on the island. Robbie was quick to answer any question we had during our stay. It was so fun to see so many old movies and cd's that we had to utilize them everyday to expose our kids to the good stuff. Robbie recommended Chef Keshlah for a personalized chef, which we did as a brunch on our last day. My only regret is that we did not use her multiple times during our stay. Our hosts gave us so many recommendations for safe and fun excursions and we are thankful because they were all great! We had two families with a total of 10 people and there was plenty of room. The best part was that both set of parents had their on bedroom with ensuite bathroom. It was a very quite and safe neighborhood. And we were the only ones on the beach for an entire week. The sand has some rocky areas so bring water shoes, but other than that it was perfect!!!! Thanks Rosalie and Robbie for a wonderful and safe place to stay!

Blue Beach House

Our extended family had an amazing and very relaxing week at Rosalie and Robbie’s place on the beach. They were both extremely responsive to any questions and very helpful suggesting grocery shoppers to stock the kitchen for our arrival and drivers to get us to and from the airport. There were 8 of us including a 3 yr old. The house layout was perfect for us. Everyone loved the pool and being so close to the beach. You could easily walk 3 or so km on the beach and there’s a beach bar about .5 km along you can hit for a drink and snack. We all had a great time, would return and recommend! Thanks!

Such a beautiful home! A wonderful place to make great memories with friends and family! Had a wonderful time celebrating my 50th Birthday! Do your self a favor and use chef Perry Sweeting services! He makes the most amazing food! He will come and Spoil you with the most delicious meals! He was Definity a highlight. The house is spacious, the pool is fantastic and the beach is pretty much all yours! Thank you so much for this fun time! Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time at Blue Bird. From check-in to check-out, it was seamless. We only left the property once because this is definitely in a neighborhood that is not accessible to any type of "center". Before we checked in, Robbie was very prompt with answering any questions and gave us recommendations on transport, as well as introduced us to Chef Perry. 100% recommend hiring the chef. Not only is it amazing food but the service and piece of mind (they'll grocery shop for you!) was priceless for us. The house was well stocked and very clean. Water pressure in showers wasn't the best but this has often been our experiences on islands. Overall, amazing experience.

Our group of lifelong friends got together for a long weekend at this house was perfect for us! The bedrooms had enough space for everyone, the pool was great, and it was steps from the ocean. I only gave it 4 stars for the neighborhood because it is pretty far from any of the tourist centers, but for many that may be a plus. Would definitely come back again.

Look No Further

We wanted a nice property with an island feel, well maintained with a pool and on the beach. We got everything we wanted plus the best hosts that we've ever encountered. Robbie and Rosalie were remarkable during every phase of this booking and Robbie saw fit to greet us personally upon arrival and stayed intouch throughout our stay until we were at the airport. He provided a plethora of recommendations from restaurants, night clubs, golf, sights to see and more. I truly cannot say enough. The property itself is well maintained; everything is just as you see on the site. There are pool toys, beach chairs, kayaks, and so much more that we weren't even expecting. We did run into a little unexpected hiccup with the gate to the property. It malfunctioned on our third day but Robbie made sure that we stayed secured regardless. To summarize all I can say is if ever our travel group returns, we'll definitely check to see if this property is available.

Fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Bluebird house for our multi-generational annual holiday. Everything was perfect. Robbie was very attentive to our needs and was very helpful in showing us where to visit on the island, where to shop and providing us with contacts for catering (Perry Sweeting). Piece of Paradise !!!

The house was beyond our expectations. Everything was clean and well stalked. I loved that they had all the appliances, cookware, and dishes you could need. We loved the outdoor area so much! The view was amazing and perfect spot for the most beautiful sunsets. The location is further away from all the busy touristy areas, making it wonderful place to relax. The water is not as blue as the other side of the island, but the water is much calmer, which is great for swimming or snorkeling. We felt safe in the area and the privacy made it feel like we were on our own little island. We all felt at home! Thank you Robbie and Rosalie for everything!

Amazing communication. Great suggestions. Made great recommendations on dive shops, activities etc. lots of beds. Able to squeeze 2 sets of grandparents (4), and 2 families of 4. My daughter had an ear infection and Robbie helped us look for a Doctor on the island. The beach was perfect for little kids. Many of the family enjoyed the kayaks and the heated pool was the perfect temperature to keep everyone in it all day ( ages 1.5-7 yo in particular). Thanks for a Great time! Ate an amazing restaurant in the island, shima ( chef Dave!).

An island on an island

When we were booking this property there were some things that weren’t clear to us, having never visited the Bahamas and being unfamiliar with the location. The house is very nice and very comfortable. It has high ceilings, modern appliances, and many bathrooms. It does feel like an authentic Bahamian experience, which is what we were looking for when we were booking. There were seven of us and young children, one less than two-years-old. For this reason we wanted as much space as possible for playing, napping, and hanging out. We also wanted to be able to store and prepare food and have some privacy so we could have our meltdowns without bothering anyone. This property provided all of those things. The location to the beach is incredible- the ocean comes right up to the step off the back gate. It is very cool. We did not spend too much time on the beach because during our visit there were what seemed to be biting sand flies (Thanksgiving). My husband’s feet had many bites so we did not take the kids to play in the sand. The location was among other similar homes, but also vacant properties and new development. It was a mix, but we decided not to go for walks in the neighborhood for our general impressions of the area. Specifically, there were stray dogs, guards at the nearby strip mall, - places I would not go to alone though my husband did. We did see locals walking with strollers though so it may have been fine. Also, we felt safe while at the property, which is gated. The island is not that big so driving out to a public beach (we liked Jaws Beach) and restaurants did not take long. Also the roads were a straight shot so it was easy to navigate in a rental (driving is on the left side of the street, but our rental had the driver on the left side as in the US). The hosts were also very nice. We took advantage of their pantry service and it was so nice to arrive and have the fridge stocked with groceries. They were also very nice when we damaged a chair. I was not sure what to expect for the higher-end nightly rate. The value of this property for us was the space and the pool (which is heated too). It was a very nice property with very nice hosts. The kids had a blast and I am still happy with our decision to find an alternative to the resorts.

Perfect!

This home is the place to stay when vacationing in the Bahamas! It is absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean (I am very fussy!), and is equipped with everything that you need for your stay, as well as items you didn’t even know you needed. The home is spacious and comfortable, it truly felt like our home away from home. It is in a great location, a quiet and safe neighborhood where you aren’t too far (with a car) from everything that the Bahamas has to offer. The beach, just steps away, is beautiful, very private and allows for relaxation while listening to the ocean. The views from the home are picture perfect, you feel like you are looking at a postcard! Robbie and Rosalie are absolutely wonderful hosts, they met us upon our arrival and were warm and welcoming. As we were planning our trip and during our entire stay they were attentive and responded quickly to our emails and text messages. Their attention to detail in preparing their home for guests goes above and beyond. Thank you Robbie and Rosalie for a wonderful and perfect family vacation in the Bahamas, we look forward to returning.
