'Verblijf is all inclusive maar geboden maaltijden zijn zeer slecht van kwaliteit en hoeveelheid. Geen warm water om te douchen 's ochtends tijdens "spitsuur". Personeel alleen geinteresseerd in fooien.'

'Der Aufenthalt bei Patrick (und seinem Spitzenkoch!) im Merinja Guest House war genau, was wir nach einer Woche Reise brauchten. Die ruhige, grüne Umgebung und der einladende Garten mit Hängematten sind eine richtige Oase, um sich zu erholen. Am Abend hat uns der Koch mit lokalen, sehr schmackhaftem Essen verwöhnt. 'Good place to stay at for a layover. Cheap, spacious rooms, and they provide breakfast. Place is hard to find and it would help if they had a sign thay said "El Sueno Homestay" outside the Main Gate instead of our driver wondering if this is the place, calling the lady, then her coming outside. The place is pn Muthiaga Lane (Its a Blue sign) and leads all the way to the end on the left. The locals helped us find it. But yes, def good place to stay for a night while you transition to your next...

'Meal service was below par. Not enough options, food kept running out. They only offer 1drink per person without refill, when requested for water, staff told us we have already received one juice. Did not offer water even at additional cost. Had to push staff to offer this (give us water). During meals, staff have to be requested for beverages multiple times before offering. Seems like they were understaffed. Lots of people who were doing multiple conferences, might need more staff to improve...

'I am from the US, so according to the US standards, this property was average at best. The hotel room was cleaned every day. I felt my things were safe there. We had no issues with safety. There were fresh water bottles every day. The bathrooms functioned well, and there was no mold. The room was spacious enough. The location was very convenient for me. I would never find it if I didn't have a driver, though. The service was excellent. The team was friendly, very accommodating, and prompt....

'Remove the word “luxury” in the name of the hotel or replace it by “Outdated” then it’s clear about the state. Also replace “pool” with “Pond” it describes it better the water was green and dirty Flowers/bushes on balconies was all dead why not remove them'
