'The staff really got to know you and they were so friendly and kind, but also stayed professional. They greeted us with fresh juice, showed us the room and how the shower works and how to use the air conditioning. They were on top of everything and met our needs. They arranged for a car to pick us up to take us to the airport at 4. They let us check out around 12-1 and kept our bags safe before we were picked up. If I am back in Moshi, I will definitely stay again. '

'The garden area felt like a little slice of paradise with bunnies running around freely helping to maintain the grass - as well as donkeys. Monkeys were climbing in the trees, and occasionally a large turtle would cross the lawn. The place itself was very calming and the staff sweet and helpful.'

'This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend Shose if you are in the Moshi area. Starting with the warm welcome from Benson at the front desk to the wonderful service and great recommendations for dinner from our waiter Ismail, we were very pleased with choosing Shose Farmhouse! We were 2 couples and all agreed that the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious and the bed super comfortable! Also enjoyed a hot soak in the outdoor tub on the balcony overlooking green fields and Mt. Kilimanjaro...

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating- even going so far as to check I was well when I slept in after a long hike at Kilimanjaro. John the driver and Dorothy stand out. Very clean and accommodating in terms of the infrastructure. Great (unheated) pool and lovely bar. I really enjoyed the food. Breakfast (included) was awesome. It is not quiet because of the roads, so if that is an issue stay elsewhere, but overall I really enjoyed my stay at Panama Gardens....

'Brubru Lodge is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the pool and garden is so clean and pretty. We had an amazing stay. Breakfast was delicious and we had dinner one day there it was really good as well. Its possible to get a transfer to the airport but it was quite expensive (70 dollar). To the main centre of moshi it takes you 25minutes by feet. It’s a perfect place to relax. '

The food menu at restaurant was also very good. Location is very close to Moshi town (about 15min drive - though if you stay here, you really dont need to go into town - Moshi is very disappointing). Only con was the very spotty wifi. '

' We stayed at Chayna Lodge for 2 nights before we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. The staff was amazing, especially Omar. He was so kind and helpful for our entire state. When we left to hike mountain, they were kind enough to hold onto our luggage and put our personal items in a locked safe. The property is beautiful and well cared for. the breakfast buffet was great and included an omelette station. I would definitely go back and visit. '
