'Bij aankomst wisten ze niet wat je kwam doen omdat ze geen Engels spreken. Na inschakeling van buren alles weer opgelost. Beetje buiten het centrum. In het centrum zijn beter locaties te vinden voor deze prijs.'

'The staff was kind and friendly and the overwater bungalow we stayed in was dreamy. You get a perfect view of sunsets over the bay every night. Bathroom including shower was modern and convenient. Restaurant is really high quality and beautiful. Amazing time!'

'Skrækkeligt hotel. Personalet kunne ikke finde vores reservation, da vi fik et værelse måtte vi bede om håndklæder og toiletpapir, lagner var beskidte. Der var ingen rengøring på værelset i de 3 dage vi var der, måtte igen bede og rene håndklæder og toiletpapir... Der var ellers rigeligt med personale. 'TA’AKTANA is a more than just a hotel, it’s a rich sensory experience with stunning design features in every nook and cranny, every wall, floor and ceiling, and in the furniture choices - an interior designers dream! The resort is still very new so there is construction going on but I was notified ahead of my trip so it wasn’t really an issue. Being so new the staff and service isn’t quite seamless yet but the friendliness and attentiveness made up for any minor inconveniences. Highly recommend...

'We had the double villa, so a lot of space and nice rooms. The best part of this accomodation is the perfect sunset to watch here. Restaurant facility is OK, but moderate. Breakfast can be much better. We booked a Komodo island daytrip and the hotel gave us a breakfast box that was really very poor! You better take your own if you do so. Staff is nice and helpfull but in the restaurant very young and unexperienced.'

kind, helpful, and friendly. The price is so worth it with free airport shuttle and breakfast. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Furnitures are kind of old but in working conditions. We stayed here to 3 nights and we enjoyed it. '

"We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that!
Try to book the seaview rooms, those are stunning.. i tried rooms on both sides… for sure the ones with seaview were the best. I slept with the doors open and closed. Even though I am a light sleeper… did not hear noices from outside, wich keep me awake… at all.
The other day I slept with the terrace doors open… that day, I only hear noices around 6 AM, for me personally, no big deal!
About the room with a hillview, which was quiet near to the mosque… with the terrace doors completely shut… I did not hear the early morning prayers at all!!
Conclussion: rooms are soundproof!
Everything on walkable distance… many restaurants/eateries/fish market… you name it…
Staff very friendly and willing to make your stay as comfy as pissible…
Breakfast was goid, enough choices, both for western as local food!

"Het zwembad was geweldig. Op de derde verdieping met
uitkijk op de zee en de zonsondergang. Gezellige poolbar en supervriendelijk personeel. De kamers waren ook prima en heel erg schoon. Kortom, een echte aanrader!"
