'We arrived late at night, actually it was more like early morning. Rio Amazonas is one of the few hotels that will let you check in that late. Check in was swift and we got a broom with a magnificent view over the city and Cotopaxi. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom brand new and beautiful. Breakfast is fabulous and the staff is very friendly. Not sure about the neighborhood yet, but it looks fine. '

'We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and there was a 24hrs reception. For us it was a plus that you could use the kitchen and fridge. The internet was fast and the shower hot & enough debit! Eggs, bread, fruit, fresh juice, ... for breakfast. What do you want more?'
