'This was our second stay at Twin Cedars Cabin, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The hand-built cabin has such a unique charm, with its beautiful wood interior and the story behind its construction. We loved spending quiet mornings on the rocking-chair porch, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest, and evenings under the starry sky were unforgettable. The wrap-around deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and privacy of the setting. A truly special place that...

'We will be back! This lake house was the perfect setup. We had 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 1-6). The house was in a great swimming location, was close to a marina for boat rental, was off the beaten path and chaos of the main lake, but still close enough for a quick DG run. Every single space was usable, including the water slide and the cut little slide off of the deck. The Lilly pad was also a big hit. The fishing was also another win. Lastly, not sure if it was the location or the upkeep...

'4 nights was perfect getaway! Property is very peaceful (especially in late October) with no one else around. Road in is long and dusty so be prepared to dust off or keep belongings in the vehicle. Recommend a SUV or truck s the last little stretch of road is rough. Overall we highly recommend!'

'My wife and I were in town for family business. We have many family members in the region, and we wanted to stay far off the grid. I’m glad we did. No phone, no cable, no nothing. Absolutely fantastic! We plan to bring our children on the next trip in about 8 months. This place is #1 on the list for my wife and I. I have stayed in most states and countries, but this by far is the best stay in quite some time. We are coming back. If you want to make an offer to sell, let me know. '

'This was one of the best VRBO houses our family has stayed in. It was super clean, comfortable, and had many amenities. My family voted to rent it again next year. '

'It was an average place. Nothing fancy. It is basically what you would think of as a cottage on a lake. Mismatched broken furniture. Dirty mattress on upstairs bunk bed. Didn’t see any bugs but I’m thinking I may have gotten head lice from the pillows. The skillets and stuff had to be scrubbed before we could use them. We did see some sort of water bug that’s to be expected on a lake. The internet is horrible I had to use my hotspot for a firestick on the tv. No one else’s phones would work on...

'My husband and I along with our three grown kids and grandkids enjoyed a few days on the lake. We brought our boat and jet skis. The house was wonderful for our group.'

'The listing was very accurate based on pictures and had a very true lake house feel. Only complaint is about the next-door neighbor's dog. The red brick house had a dog that came over to our rental property and barked aggressively and blocked my grandkids and daughter in law from walking up the path to the house from boat ramp. The owner eventually came out and got the dog. We only had the one-time problem.'
