'I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was so friendly and for the price, the location was a plus. I was in walking distance of several sightseeing spots, and some good restaurants around. The room itself was cozy and clean. I highly recommend this gem for any first time visitors.'

'They checked all of the boxes for me. The room was exactly as I expected with a beautiful view of the river. Excellent in room coffee and complimentary in lobby along with filtered chilled water…and popcorn! Steamer instead of an iron, I can leave that at home next time. Great robe. Wine opener in room with real glasses. Great accommodations without being too stuffy and formal. Friendly and helpful staff. Best hotel experience in Chicago evaaaa! '

'Comfortabele appartment with nice, furnished balcony and well-equipped kitchen. Located conveniently close to subway and supermarkets. Safe neighbourhood. No staff or desk at the accommodation but very smooth communication regarding all aspects of the booking (confirmation, access code, early check-in). Would definitely stay here again. '

"This hotel is truly beautiful — Art Deco style, full of character and soul. It’s located downtown, and many sights are within walking distance. The subway and bus stops are also nearby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom could use renovation.
However, it’s a large hotel, and that comes with some downsides. There was a long queue for both check-in and check-out, as not all service desks were staffed. We stayed for four nights, but had to downgrade our room because it still wasn’t ready — even at 5 PM. There was no refund, and as compensation we were offered a free breakfast, which turned out to be just for one day. Very disappointing.
Upon check-out, the bills I received showed additional charges of $352.26 for taxes and parking. However, my credit card was charged a total of €495.88 — significantly more than expected. I sent multiple messages via Expedia, but the hotel never responded. Since I was traveling through the U.S., I didn’t have the time to call and follow up properly. I sincerely hope the hotel will look into this and respond accordingly."
