A lovely, peaceful, relaxing stay

Thanks to Stelios and his family for their wonderful hospitality, the fresh melons every few days and delicious home baked cake and grapes from their farm upon arrival. We really enjoyed our stay on Naxos Island and found this property a great place from which to explore the whole island. Very quiet area, with lovely beaches and wonderful restaurants with fantastic hearty food

Beautiful view from balcony

Great location near some of the most beautiful beaches on the island - very calm. We highly recommend booking a rental car to get around. Air conditioning worked great. The view of vineyards and the sea from the balcony is outstanding, perfect for sunset drinks. Thank you to Stelios and his brother, George, for their efficient communication, hospitality and recommendations!

Location, location, location!

Stelios and his family's hospitality was outstanding; we were warmly greeted with homemade gifts and they quickly responded to our needs throughout our stay. The location cannot be beat; a stone's throw away from a quiet beach, local restaurants, bakeries and a super market. If there is one thing that could be improved, it is the lack of air conditioning in the kitchen area where two beds are located making it hard to get a good night's sleep during the hot month of August.

Superbe séjour au calme sur une belle île

L'appartement est très agréable et situé à 300 mètres d'une plage tranquille. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la tranquillité du lieu entre nos deux séjours très bruyants à Mykonos et Santorin. Stelios est vraiment très sympathique et a fait tout ce qu'il a pu pour nous aider à régler nos petits problèmes.

Un bel appartement bien placé avec un hôte exceptionnel

L’appartement est idéalement placé. A une 100ene de mètres de la plage et proche de glyfada beach. La plus belle plage de l’île. Concernant notre hôte Stelios il est de loin le plus gentil de tout ceux qu’on a pu avoir, tout voyage confondu. Il est venu nous chercher au ferry, et nous a déposer à l’endroit où nous avions loué notre voiture, à attendu avec nous puis nous a guidé à l’appartement. Nous trouvions de quoi manger en rentrant de la plage. Raisin, œuf ... de petites attentions qui nous ont fait très plaisir. Très disponible par téléphone, il nous a rendu de grand services. D’une tres grande gentillesse. Nous espérons bien le revoir Nous conseillons très fortement cette location !

Quiet and relaxing , a rare find!

The property was clean and comfortable and well equipped for self catering. This in itself was great but the kindness of the host made it especially nice. Stelios picked us up at the port and took us to the property, he drove around the village to show us the best beaches and the restaurants. His mother had sent cake and biscuits and during our stay we were given fruit and eggs from their farm. Stelios also arranged for car hire during our stay and gave tips on where to go. Greek hospitality at its best. When we return to Naxos we will definitely stay here.

Very relaxed holidays in beautiful surrounding

Apartment in good condition, seaview, very silent location, 5 minutes walk to very nice beaches. You can find everything you need in beautiful simple places. But most impressive the kindliness of renter Stelios. He picked us up at the port, gave us fresh fruits and eggs from his farm as well as homemade cake from his mother. VALE LA PENA SCEGLIERLO

La proprietà è molto carina, e nche all'interno è spaziosa, luminosissima con grande terrazzo e un balconcino. Unica cosa che forse rivaluterei è la fornitura della cucina. Forniscono lenzuola, c'era anche un cambio nell'armadio, asciugamani per doccia e faccia. La posizione è ottima e se qualcuno gira bene l'isola si accorgerà che è una delle migliori. Posto tranquillo. A 100 metri dalla spiaggia lunga o caletta si può scegliere e bel mare. 20 minuti da Naxos città. Grande gentilezza, disponibilità, attenzione e ospitalità da parte del proprietario sig. Stelios e anche suo fratello. Noi siamo stati bene.

Very spacious and clean - great host with just the right level of contact

A very nice apartment but you do need a car if you want more than the local beach and local restaurants. There’s a good bus service for which you need to pre buy tickets or sweet talk the driver and he will let you hop off and back on to purchase when they pass a sales point. The accommodation is quite remote but that’s a good thing if that’s what you’re after. Stelios met us off the ferry and took us there. He gave us fresh fruit, eggs and bread as a gift and replaced the towels after 3 days of our week there. Other than that he didn’t come round but did offer any help were we to ask. He did find us a good deal on car hire so he is worth tapping into for help. South of the accommodation are some great beaches that are worth exploring. If you like the crowds go north along the shore line. Naxos town is great at night and my top tip for eating out is chose the town square and not the sea front. The old town is spectacular and a must see as are the villages. Overall a great base for seeing the island and a great host.

Nous avons passé la première semaine d'Aout dans l'appartement de Stelios. Il est assez grand (2 pièces en tout) et bien situé (plage et petit supermarché à proximité), mais une voiture est préférable. L'équipement est restreint : la seule climatisation peine un peu les jours de forte chaleur, la seule poele est trés fatiguée et il manque des couverts et une table pour manger à quatre sur la terrasse. La cuisinière avec four est par contre appréciable. Stelios est trés sympathique et attentionné.

Accueil très chaleureux dans un cadre magnifique

Appartement très agréable dans un cadre plein de charme à proximité de magnifiques plages sauvages quasi désertes. Stelios est un hôte adorable,dévoué et toujours près à rendre le séjour de ses estivants le plus agréable possible. Il nous attendait à notre arrivée au port et nous a donné des fruits et des légumes de son jardin plusieurs fois. C'est quelqu'un de très attentionné et cultivé, qui nous a bien aidés. Si nous revenons à Naxos nous retournerons chez Stelios.

Une vue magnifique, un appartement au calme et un hôte adorable

Nous avions été accueilli par Stélios au port. Il a été du début à la fin un hôte adorable, disponible (il n'habite pas sur place mais était facilement joignable). Il nous a offert des produits locaux, donné des conseils culinaires et touristiques, emmené voir les plus proches plages à notre arrivée. Il était très attentif et attentionné. Les draps et serviettes sont changées tous les trois jours. L'appartement était très propre. Il est situé à la campagne, mais il est possible de faire des courses au petit supermarché à moins de 400 mètres, et il y a dans un rayon de 2 km au moins 3 très bonnes tavernes familiales (Gyflada sur la place de gauche, Mikri Vagla sur plage de droite, Paradise sur la plage au bout du chemin) ainsi que le restaurant Axiotissa, tous excellents. La location de la voiture ou de vélos ou scooter est à 2 km, Stélios peut vous aider à la faire. Nous avons loué une voiture 4 jours pour visiter l'île qui est diverse et agréable, et avons passé le reste du temps à tout faire à pied, c'était parfait. L'appartement est idéal pour un couple qui cherche le calme ou pour des familles (chèvres à proximité). Il y a deux pièces "seulement" mais comme elles ont chacune un balcon ce n'est pas un problème une fois les enfants couchés. Nous ne nous sommes pas lassés de la vue et des couchers de soleil sur l'île de Paros. Après avoir un peu bougé sur d'autres plages, nous avons conclu que celles à proximité de l'appartement sont les plus belles et les plus désertes de l'île. A recommander, merci encore à Stélios pour tout !

La mejor zona de la isla para disfrutar de la playa y estar tranquilo

Relación calidad- precio estupenda. Está muy cerca de las playas, todo limpio y muy tranquilo. Stelios es encantador y muy muy amable. Cuando llegamos nos esperaba con un bizcocho, pastas y mermeladas que había hecho su madre para nosotros.Nos buscó el coche de alquiler y nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Un 10 para Stelios. Cerca hay un chiringuito encantador y una taberna que está muy bien.

Amazing

We lodged in this fabulous apartment for 1 week. The owner picked us up us when we arrived at port and we came back. At our arrival he immediately gave us a chocolate pie, fruit, eggs and water: we’ve never found such hospitality in other countries!!! The apartment has 2 big balconies, a big, clean and fully equipped kitchen, a good bathroom and a large dining room with double bed. The owner gave us towels and sheets every 3 days. The apartment is very close to kastraki and mikri vigla beaches, while it takes 30 minutes to go to Naxos town by scooter. We strongly recommend this apartment to spend a quiet and very relaxing holiday, near to very beautiful beaches and the town.

Hospitality on a great island

Spacious, clean and very well equipped for cooking and saving some expenses. Relatively cheap and thank to Stelios we had our rented car outside the appartment when we arrived. Very peaceful and quiet for a couple or a family, but I wouldn't recommend it for younger people that wish for croud and nightlife. The owners provided us generously with fruits, eggs and vegetables from their own farm, as they told. Very satisfied in total.

Beautiful and quiet

If you want a quiet place to relax and refill your batteries, this is it! The room was clean, well equipped (we mostly cooked inside), with a beautiful view of the sea. The owners were very friendly and provided us with local products. We rent a car for a few days to trip around Naxos, and we spent some days going on foot to the nearby beaches. I Strongly recommend Kastraki beach, Mikri Vigla bay and Alyko (with forest till the shore). Very satisfied with our stay, on a very reasonable price.

Comfortable apartment close to the sea

This apartment is located in Kastraki, a settlement south of Chora and close to the sea. Kastraki has limited facilities (two small mini supermarkets and a couple of tavernas) but the beach is close by and excellent. In September only one bus a day runs to Chora; a car would therefore be useful but not essential. We hired a quad bike for a day but that required a 40 minute walk to a nearby village to pick it up. The apartment itself is simple but spacious and more than adequate for a beach holiday. We could have done with a bit more kitchen equipment - no kettle or toaster, for example, but we managed. Its' owner, Stelios, was really helpful in providing transport to Kastraki and helping us to find our way around. Overall, a great apartment for anyone wanting to get away to a quiet location and enjoy the wonderful beaches of south west Naxos.

Excellent Stay

New, quiet, clean and comfortable. My family and I loved Mikri Vigla beach which was pretty close. We didn't rent a car, it was not really needed as we chose to have a one day guided tour of Naxos. Kastraki area was one of the best of the island. Axiotissa tavern (10 minutes away on foot) provided high quality food which we really enjoyed (prices were good but you have to book). The only disadvantage was WIFI reception which was low. The owners provided us with local products of Naxos twice which was much appreciated! I really hope to visit the place again.

Very good choice!

Great hospitality, very clean and quiet, nice view. Short distance from the shore and surrounded by nature! We had clean sheets and towels every three days. No room service.
