We spent four days spending time with extended family. Listing comfortably hosted 8 adults, 5 kids and our dog. We loved sitting outside, cooking meals and exploring the area. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed and had plenty of activities/areas for the kids to enjoy themselves as well!

The house was perfect for our extended family vacation. Plenty of space for multiple families and the kids loved being able to all sleep in the same room. The deck was amazing and we spent majority of the time enjoying the fire pit. The lake was really fun to explore and we spent multiple days boating. The one con about the house was the location of the pier was not visible from the house. With younger kids it would have been nice to know that prior, it made fishing more of a challenge. The host was really easy to work with and we really appreciated the book they provided about the lake.

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house and would absolutely come back! The property was very well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Chris was an excellent host—very responsive throughout our stay and communicated the house rules clearly and succinctly, making everything easy from check-in to check-out.The layout was perfect for our group of eight, with plenty of beds and space to spread out. In fact, we even had an entire bedroom that went unused. The home was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and created a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. One minor thing to be aware of is that the water near the dock wasn't swimmable during our stay because of algae, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the lake. We were able to swim farther out in the middle of the lake without any issues. We also had great luck fishing—we caught walleye, cooked it for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious!Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway. We look forward to returning!

This properties has so many great amenities and is stocked thoughtfully with items needed to make your stay the best possible experience. There were many fluffy towels in the bathrooms and for the hot tub, plenty of firewood for the TWO fire pits, a gas fireplace in the living area, dining table to fit up to 10, comfy beds, large fluffy pillows, tvs in all the bedrooms and a large tv in the living room, big hot tub, east facing wall of windows/glass doors for scenic views over Castle Rock Lake, large closets with luggage racks, and a fully stocked kitchen with added appliances for your convenience. Add this to an incredibly responsive host, and a location difficult to surpass equals an unparalleled lakefront experience!
Beautiful views toward the lake with the fire pit and abundance of seating in the foreground.

The house was absolutely perfect for our weekend family trip! Highlights: plenty of beds, fully stocked kitchen, very clean. We especially loved the outdoor space! The large deck with gated door was perfect for kids and dogs. The bonfire pit areas have ample seating and a great vibe. The house has nice views of the water and we took the kayak/canoe out a few times. There is also a nice walking path along the water. The house was perfect for hosting our large group, I highly recommend it!

Chosen primarily for the location since it was between our home locations allowing our families to easily meet to celebrate. We liked all the amenities and it was easy to follow directions for the boat slip for our boat. Lots of parking was also a plus. The large table allowed us to enjoy meals all together and the multiple areas allowed for multiple activities - movies, fire, hot tub , etc. We were very happy with the rental and would book again.

Excellent Lake House!!!

My family and I traveling in from Chicago. Our stay was nothing short of excellent. The house was super clean and had enough room for everyone to have their own space. The walk along the lake was breath taking, we really enjoyed that. Everything was perfection, looking forward to staying again.
