Beautiful house with views of the lagoon at the end of the garden. Don't expect this to be like a hotel. It definitely felt more like renting a room in someone's holiday home (which is actually exactly what it is!). My boyfriend and I were the only guests when we stayed there in March this year and were met on arrival by the villa's manager and the gardener/on site maintenance man. It was late evening when we got there and did not know that lunch and dinner were not provided at all. Had we known we would have brought our own food to cook in the communal kitchen. Apparently there were nearby places to eat that were only a tuk tuk ride away though but we didn't venture out in the end so I can't confirm! Breakfast was included though and was freshly prepared for us in the morning. It was very tasty.
The bedroom and bathroom were very clean but while there was an AC, a ceiling fan and a plug in fan in our room, it was still not that cool. Compared to the rest of the villa (which only had ceiling fans) it was the coolest though! Also it felt a little strange to be the only people there as the manager does not stay on the premises overnight. Make sure you get his personal phone number to call him should you have any problems. He was keen to help with anything. Overall I would recommend this hotel as long as it suits your needs. As I have already said, it is more like renting a room in a villa than staying in a hotel with staff on hand and a bar and a restaurant at your convenience
