'last minute booking due to a canceled flight. We wanted a tidy place to sleep at a good price and we were so happy when we came across this option. Really liked the way you can slide a huge glass door to the bedroom to make it quieter but being glass it kept the entire space feeling bigger. The place is so clean and everything was very comfortable. Staff were lovely.'

'Stunning stay with family for a winter getaway. This property provided us with the most peaceful, idyllic location with everything that we needed.
We found the beds very comfortable, and the shower was excellent (although we did run out of hot water after two 15min showers). We loved the use of the kayaks, too (yes, it was cold!)
Overall, would highly recommend this place for a true Kiwiana experience.'

'We loved this property. It was private and peaceful with a lovely rural outlet and some very cute pet sheep. While near the main homestead the set up and positioning made it private with its own parking area and entranceway. A short walk was a paved track which went down to the beach. Stunning views from the top over the bay.
We spent most of our time onsite for the 4 days we were there celebrating a 90th birthday and it was excellent to be able to bring my elderly dad there each day for...
