'The Bear's Den is a darling place to stay on a vacation. While the bedrooms were on the smaller side, the living areas had tons of room to relax and move around, which is where it really matters. 'Our three children are in their early 20’s, life is moving so fast which is why we love to head up north to escape our busy schedules. Loon lodge was perfect! 'We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location with easy access to Itasca. It was quiet and quaint. Loved sitting out on the porch in the mornings and evenings enjoying the view of the trees and listening to the birds. 'Easiest Check in and Check out Process I have ever had. Nice and peaceful cabin in the woods on the beautiful lake. I would definitely go there again. I understand why the check out time is early because of having to clean the cabins, but that would be the only think I would have liked to be different. I kind of stressed about it most of the night, but not everyone worries about that stuff like I do. Great place to stay though.'
