'I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.'

'This was the perfect place for a quiet and unique weekend away from the kids. Totally walkable, we didn't take the car out once. We hiked. We ate. We went to a show. We enjoyed the loft bed and bathtub and it was a perfect place for us.'

'I just stayed for one night- visiting family. The family was friendly and also gave me space. My favorite thing was the pond, with many koi fish. My area included a bedroom , bathroom with sauna, and a rec room with a giant tv, treadmill, ping pong table and fooz ball table. The bed was very comfortable and the night was peaceful. I would visit again.'
