'Simplicity is something thatbI can appreciate. The room had everything I needed for this short trip. The bathroom (in my opinion) had a wonderful anesthetic. The white on white tile was beautifully thought of. The proximity to the train station was top teir. In addition, the property manager was very attentive and responsive when messaging.I would recommend the stay here.'

'I highly enjoyed my stay at this property. I came with my family so I really needed a place to accommodate all of our needs. And this place did not disappoint. It was very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Although I am a native New Yorker, I no longer live in the city but come home frequently as a “tourist” lol. 'The apartment was amazing; and it exceeded the description on Vrbo. The fixtures and appliances were all new; the bathrooms and kitchen were remodeled; the bedrooms were fresh and comfortable; and the accomodations were awesome. The apartment is very close to the highway, thus, very convenient to access in/out of the city, etc. And, the host and her on-site property manager (Therese) were fully accessible and accomodating during our stay. A perfect place to visit in the Bronx!'

'Great small place to stay if all you care about is the beach. That is what I was looking for and so I was very happy. The rooms are very small and the walls are thin. But I was okay with that. My only complaint that Echoes others is that the shower was lukewarm at best. But it's safe enough clean enough quiet enough etc.'

'We had a great stay at the High Tide for our family of 4, just a few minutes walking distance from popular Beach 98. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained. Great communication from management. There is a ton of great food spots all over Rockaway Beach and the High Tide is close to many of them (recommend Uma's, Claudette, Roasters, Bungalow Bar, Tacoway Beach, the decadent frozen pina colada at Connelly's, and pretty much everything at Beach 98 and Beach 105). "The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a big plus: quiet, yet easily accessible by public transport (two subway stations within walking distance). It was also nice that the deposit was refunded quickly — within three hours after check-out on Revolut. We received a room upgrade, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the mobile air conditioner was connected through the window and mounted in such a way that I couldn’t close the window at first. Luckily, I managed to fix it myself since I always carry a small screwdriver when travelling. This allowed us to close the window at night and enjoy a good night’s rest. Overall, a good hotel to sleep with good beds on a good location and friendly staff for a good price. but more attention should be given to room maintenance/practical details."
