Rustige retraite aan het water op slechts enkele minuten van Wolfeboro

Vreedzame woning aan het meer op Shaws Pond met 3 slaapkamers, 1 en 1/2 baden. Stel je voor dat jij en je familie genieten van alles wat het merengebied te bieden heeft met geweldig zwemmen (inclusief zwemvlot), varen (3 kajaks), vissen (bas, pickerel, baars, maanvis en meer), en aan het meer zitten genieten van het mooie uitzichten en prachtige zonsondergangen. Verzamel rond het kampvuur, kook s'mores en maak herinneringen die een leven lang meegaan. Fantastische dagtochten naar nabijgelegen bezienswaardigheden maken dit een ideale vakantiebestemming.

Gelegen op slechts 6 mijl van het centrum Wolfeboro, heb je toegang tot alle geweldige restaurants, muziek en winkelen dat de Meren te bieden heeft. Slechts een korte rit naar de stad voor Wolfeboro's beste ijs bij Bailey's Bubble voor een onvergetelijke traktatie. Genoeg te doen als je wilt of gewoon ontspannen en genieten van alles wat Shaws Pond te bieden heeft.

Het huis beschikt over een grote slaapkamer (uitzicht op het meer) met een queen size bed, 2e slaapkamer met queen size bed (uitzicht op het meer) en een "stapelbed kamer" die kan slapen tot 3 (stapelbed met onderschuifbed matras).

De woonkamer heeft een slaapbank en er is ook een 'speelkamer' met spelletjes en speelgoed en kan worden omgezet in een extra slaapgedeelte met een opblaasbaar matras. De keuken is volledig uitgerust en voorzien van een vaatwasser. Er is ook een wasmachine en een droger. De woonkamer heeft een smart-tv en een dvd-speler, geen kabel beschikbaar, voel u vrij om uw Netflix-, Hulu- of Amazon Prime-accounts te gebruiken. Internettoegang is voorzien, samen met een bureau voor degenen die op afstand moeten werken.

De eetkamer biedt plaats aan maximaal 8 personen en biedt een prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Een perfecte plek om de zonsondergang te bekijken terwijl u eet of u kunt buiten op het meer eten!

Buiten vindt u alle voorzieningen, waaronder een grill, 2 picknicktafels, een schermhuis aan het meer, een vuurplaats en toegang tot het nabijgelegen strand. Het omvat ook het gebruik van een gloednieuw 40 'dock, 3 kajaks (een is een dubbele), een roeiboot en een roeiboot samen met reddingsboeien. Motorboot toegang tot het meer op een openbare strand. Motorboot niet inbegrepen.

Gemakkelijke dagtochten vanuit het huis omvatten een rit rond Lake Winnipesaukee, een wandeling op Mt. Majoor, wandelen rond de schattige winkels in Wolfeboro, een ritje naar FunSpot in Weirs Beach en nog veel meer.

We spent a wonderful week at this house on Shaws Pond and would gladly return. The pond is beautiful and the outdoor space is wonderful. The location is great, removed from town but close enough to get to easily. The house itself served us well though it was less our focal point. Bonuses like great toys for our toddler and personal interaction with the wonderful hosts made it even more special. Thanks for a great stay!

Very comfortable and clean property right on the quiet waters of Shaw's Pond. There is a lot to do in the area, close to walking trails, grocery, downtown S. Wolfboro and Weirs Beach for a day trip. The homeowners were responsive and terrific with feedback. No sandy beach, but there is a raft and even for little ones the grassy area is a nice option. Shed is also a bonus for late night board games or even sleeping on a blow-up (bring). Do also bring a flashlight since you are lit by the stars at night! For those that cook, the kitchen is well stocked, and the grill, AC and washer/dryer make it a 'must'.

Perfect place for family time

We really enjoyed this home and all it had for us! Was exactly as was listed and had plenty of space for us to spread out. Beds were very comfy and home had everything we needed. Outdoor space was relaxing with plenty of kayaks to use, a fire pit for the few cooler nights we had and the little lake house that was the best. We look forward to visiting again next year!

Fantastic stay!

We had a great week here! The lake was SO quiet and peaceful, we barely saw anyone the entire time. We made great use of taking the kayaks out almost everyday and my three boys loved all of the outdoor and indoor toys. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The house is a short drive from Wolfeboro which is a really nice little downtown with shops and restaurants. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Great stay!

We loved this property. It was very clean and exactly as described. The back yard and waterfront area was extremely private and quiet even though the home is located off of a busier “highway”. Be aware this isn’t a home in a private neighborhood but honestly you would never know it when in the backyard. We have 3 kids, the youngest being 3 and kept an eye on them going in/out of the house but the home is set far enough back from the road that I didn’t feel concerned with the busy road in front. There are neighbors that are close by however neither were occupied during our week, one doesn’t have a dock and the other has a very small one so I can’t imagine even if they are in their homes that it would impact the feeling of being alone while floating on the water or playing on the floating dock. The house has everything you need and while it is an updated older home, it felt very comfortable and extremely clean and well taken care of (I am a germophobe and felt more than fine with the home). It’s an 8 min drive door to door to wolfboro which we visited daily for ice cream, a meal out or to shop. They’re are some great cafes and the YumYum Shop for baked goods/ice cream and Bailey’s Bubbles (cash only) are a must!! Bring some sweats for evenings as they get cooler on the water but the fire pit with s’mores and wine is a perfect way to end the day. Owners were extremely responsive, recommend this for a family stay!!

Gem on a Quiet Lake

My husband, and kids (15 & 13) stayed a week and felt right at home from the moment we arrived! The house was clean, comfortable and even had two desks if you need dedicated space to get some work done. We enjoyed ALL of the outdoor amenities which were in great condition - grill, picnic tables, outdoor couch, lounge chairs, porch house with reading chair and card table, fire pit, kayaks and row boats. The small lake is so peaceful without constant boat traffic and jet skis. Rob & Gevry were responsive to all of my questions during our stay. We hope to return one day!

Privacy on the Pond

Family friendly home with a nice backyard. The pond was quiet, serene and peaceful. I caught 2 Bass, one large mouth about 4 lbs. which made my vacation even more special. Enjoyed being close enough to Wolfeboro for shopping but far enough away from the noise and traffic.

Lovely Lakehouse Getaway

The Lakehouse was the perfect summer getaway for our family (2 adults and 4 teens). The house was so clean and had everything we needed. We made a quick trip to the market in Wolfboro and made most meals at the house. It is perfectly situated on the lake. The lake itself was incredible, even on rainy days we could enjoy the view from the house or the boathouse. Having access to the kayaks and rowboat was great. We could explore the pond or fish or both. The water was perfect, even in early summer it was cool but not cold and very clear. Thank you Gevry & Rob!!!

Great Week at Shaw's Pond

We had a wonderful week at this house. Weather was great. The owners keep the house clean and well stocked and didn't have to worry about bringing sheets and towels. Fishing was great and took the kayaks out on several occasions. Beautiful location and great views from the house. Close to Wolfeboro and NH attractions. Would definitely come back here again.

Nice location for a family vacation

A week of swimming, kayaking and fishing. The pond is very peaceful and the house waterfront makes it really easy to relax, read a book or float on a raft. Gevry & Rob were helpful and responsive. The house was clean and great location to shops, restaurants and fun day excursions (e.g., Mt. Washington, North Conway, The Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves). We would highly recommend as a great family choice.

Lake relaxation

We were looking for a relaxing vacation. This was the spot. Gevry and Rob have a beautiful home. Perfect for our family of 4. The lake views and sunsets were exactly what I had wanted. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the kayaks and relaxed on the hammock. We had fires by the lake while the sun set. The towns nearby had great restaurants, cute shops and mini golf. Peaceful retreat

This house has it all, location, views, & space. The outside area has a wonderful set up with a fire pit, a screened in hut, & a nice gradual entry into the lake. The kids had fun jumping off the swim dock too! The house itself was clean, spacious, & fully equipped with anything you might need. You are close to town but it feels secluded as the lake is very quiet & peaceful. There’s plenty of activities to do & if you do need to work the WiFi was good and there was even a work space which was nice. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A Relaxing Setting

I spent a week at this property with my wife and my sister's family. The pond was beautiful, great for swimming and kayaking, and the house was well equipped and inviting. The beachfront for the house was one of the best I've encountered, with fire pit, an abundance of chairs, and even drink refrigerators in the little house by the shore. The area was perfect for relaxing and for quiet reading. Downtown Wolfeboro was minutes away, and there was plenty to do both at the house and in town. Every property has minor quirks, and this one had a couple. I recommend bringing an Ethernet cable if you intend to use the smart TV. Without one, the TV works very slow off of the WiFi. The WiFi went down a few times over the week, but we were able to reset it easily by unplugging it and plugging it back in. The only real issue we had all week was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night (there was no fire, and it was probably the result of the heat wave the area was suffering through.) I highly recommend this property, and I would strongly consider renting it again.

Perfect Summer Getaway!

Our family of 5 adults and one toddler found this house to be the perfect summer vacation home. You are close enough to Wolfboro and Lake Winnipesaukee that you can do all the tourist things but then come back to your quiet beautiful little lake. We loved the kayaks and fishing off the dock, even had a family of ducks that came by regularly! The house had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting a great peaceful place on a beautiful lake!

Perfect idyllic retreat

The location on Shaw's pond couldn't have been more perfect. We had a blast using the kayaks - that was a big part of why we chose this place. The swim dock was also lots of fun. Found some great food, ice cream and beer in nearby Wolfeboro. (and had a Mitt Romney sighting too - apparently they own a house nearby). Hosts even left us a few brews in the fridge. :) Wifi stopped working our last night - hopefully that's been addressed. Just a warning that the layout of the house is a bit strange. The only full bath is on the first floor, and all 3 bedrooms are on the second floor. There is a half bath upstairs. The conditions were clean - nothing fancy but perfectly adequate. Lots of towels - both beach and bath. Not many toiletries provided (a tiny half empty shampoo bottle and a big bottle of body wash) so bring your own necessities. Hammock was not in the stand as pictured, but we had brought our own, so that was fine. The lake was very quiet and peaceful. Lovely place.

Perfect, lake front getaway

We are a family of 5 and rented this property in hopes of enjoying a stay on the lake for a few days and we were not disappointed. It's a very welcoming home! Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, fishing...and the sunset was amazing. Highly recommend it!

Private and gorgeous

My parents came over from ENgland and we have rented lake houses before. This house was perfect and the lake is so nice. Lots of floating and swimming and fishing. No one around. Sun comes up later onto lake area which suited a lie in and a late breakfast. Then we were there at the ‘Golden Hour’ after dinner. So many photos and good memories. Thank you.
