Home away from home
The location was superb. Great access to restaurants, grocery stores, and everything else you may need. The house was immaculate and packed with included amenities which we were very surprised with! Only draw back is noisy neighbors in the morning to be honest. Would stay there again!

The house itself is spacious and decently nice however, there was a faint smell of urine in various places throughout and on the sheets. Four of us sat at the dining room table talking and received harassing visits and calls from neighbors and the host for being too loud. If you stay here make sure you are completely silent after 7 pm.

Avery and her friends were heavily intoxicated. I had to call customer service twice and then called the police. Since local authorities were very busy and by then, it was 2 am, these guests seemed to have fallen asleep, so I called this off. I have recordings of their inappropriate behavior., hiding from the cameras while getting more intoxicated. If I walk in a place that smells like urine, I wouldn't have stayed a minute.

Good value for the price...
Home was clean and as pictured except for some different bedding. Had no trouble parking. Not the best neighborhood, but easy drive to other areas of town for groceries, restaurants, etc. Owner was responsive. The home has two other apartments and the house is noisy. You can hear all the footsteps and conversations of the other guests, even toilets flushing. Also one guest was smoking weed and it came right through our vents into our bedrooms. The thermostat is regulated so you cannot set it above 74, that sounds high but in an older house that only has one thin blanket on the bed, it wasn't enough and we had some trouble falling asleep. Also, the shower liner and bedsheets had a strong mildew odor which was unpleasant. I messaged the manager/owner after the first night to let her know were cold and about the mildew odors but she did not offer to rectify either for our last night. I would not stay again.

Great Property!
This was the best getaway I've had in recent years. The check-in process was seamless. The property was clean and well maintained. My husband I forgot some toiletries but it wasnt a problem as the bathroom was well stocked! Would definitely stay here again

Charming older home. Clean property. Bit noisy in the neighborhood the first night. Need to drive rather than walk to get to nearby attractions due to distance but parking in New Haven area was not difficult. Wonderful area restaurants.

Centrally Located, Clean, Comfortable, Spacious and Reasonably Priced
The minute we walked in the door my husband and I could see and smell the cleanliness. The beds were very comfortable and so was the sofa in the living room. It was a nice residential neighborhood where we felt safe, and there was ample street parking in front. In case guests forgot something, Sabrina had Q-tips, mouthwash, lotion, shampoo and even extra toothbrushes. We enjoyed eating the cookies and Andes mints for something sweet in the evening.

Perfect place to stay
I stayed here with my husband and friends for a concert and it was perfect. Great location, great for 2 couples staying together. Clean, easy to get to and no problem finding street parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Not only was the place lovely, but the owner thought of so many little things to make the stay more pleasant. For instance, mints, biscoffs, a fridge full of bottled water and the bathroom had a cabinet of things like new toothbrushes and ointments and lotions in case guests forgot.

Hidden Gem
Lovely property that is well-appointed and had everything we needed. We were in town to move our daughter into her dorm so we appreciated the open entry to keep the extra luggage. Excellent location and close to everything we needed. The owner was responsive and very kind. It was easy to get in and out and we felt secure at all times. Wifi was reliable and speedy since we still had to work while we were there. There is no on-property laundry but the laundry mat is nearby and very clean. We look forward to staying at this property again.

My favorite VRBO ever!!!!
First, this house is lovely. It's classic with cool architectural details you just can't find anymore (plus the pencil sketches 'Yale class of '12' in the closet let's you know there are over 100 years of history in the home). Even the choices in art and coffee table books are cool. Plus the place was spotless! We stay at a lot of rental homes, and this is the best appointed one we've found. From the snack basket in the kitchen to the refrigerated water bottles--a life saver during an incredibly warm outdoor graduation, to the very well-stocked bathroom, Sabrina thought of everything. A much better choice than the hotels in Milford or West Haven if you've got a kid at Yale and can't afford the super expensive hotel in walking distance of campus.

Very comfortable apartment, ideal for families or a rest
My family, all 8 of us, were in New Haven area for son's wedding. This middle apartment (we also rented basement apartment at the same time) was perfect for cooking, relaxing, having a birthday celebration and playing games. ALL bathroom amenities were available and well thought out. Very appreciated. AND the freshly baked breads from Owner and the stuffed bread for our last days were loved. We are a food family!! Even though parking was on street, it was always easy to find a spot right in front or nearby. One day, on the way to a wedding event, our car wouldn't start. Sabrina's husband jumped to the rescue (we went immediately for new battery!). Much appreciated. A warm and friendly family. One caveat, if you are going to be cooking, you might need some essentials: plastic wrap or aluminum foil and maybe some cooking items. I'm sure if I hadn't wanted to bother Sabrina about it, she would have brought some down (they live upstairs). I loved staying at this apartment! it was more than perfect for our stay and made the drive to Connecticut and rooming so enjoyable.

Perfect stay while visiting a Yale student

The apartment was clean and comfortable and the property manager was very responsive. There were many thoughtful amenities including snacks and toiletries. The furnishings and linens were beautiful and comfortable. We will definitely keep it in mind for any future visits to New Haven!

Lovely, clean, comfortable and charming!
My husband and I only stayed for one night but wish it could have been for longer. What a lovely place, full of old charm and comfort. The place was sparkling clean with wonderful gleaming wooden floors. It is a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of street parking. The bed we used(there are two bedrooms) was very comfortable, in fact we overslept and only just made it out of there right at 11:00 checkout time! The kitchen has everything you might need and it is decorated very cute. We loved the fact that the old features of the place, like the kitchen sink and dining room built ins, were kept. The bathroom has a beautiful slipper tub and again there is everything you might need in case you forgot something. The whole place is decorated and furnished very tastefully. Plus everything is super clean. Highly recommend this wonderful apartment. If this is available next time we are in the area we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Sabrina!

This stay was picture perfect. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. We were visiting University of New Haven and if my daughter attends school there we will certainly stay here again. All the amenities were amazing. I forgot my facewash but not to worry, Sabrina had some there for us to use along with anything else we might have needed. Great stay!

Perfect location and well appointed apartment
We visited New Haven to tour one of the universities. Booking this apartment was easy from the start. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The layout and the location are perfect, as well. In the morning we enjoyed the coffee, cream and biscotti the owner provided - wonderful surprises. We will certainly stay here again if my daughter ends up attending college in New Haven!

Just the place we needed!
My husband and I brought our 11-month old out to the East Coast from Oregon for a little Autumn tour and stopped in CT on our way. Sabrina's property had everything we needed, down to the high chair for our babe! We had a great night's sleep and were confident in letting our little guy crawl around because this place was so clean - even the pillowcases were ironed! We have never been to CT so I probably wouldn't have chosen New Haven for what we were looking for on our trip, but if that was the case we wouldn't have had the opportunity to stay at this house so it worked out great for us :) Thanks for your first class accommodations and ease of communication through the app!

EXCEPTIONAL in EVERY WAY!!!!
We were welcomed into our B & B neighborhood with a music & food festival In progress at the nearby park. We found the address & parking easy all through our 4 night stay. The neighbors were so friendly with even a Lemonade Stand on a summer day by a child. The apartment has the charm of older homes with large rooms & windows which provide a much Lighter ambiance than the VRBO pictures reflect. Old charm with modern decorating done skillfully so that it works so well. My 84 year old mother had many connections to her childhood home in Brooklyn , NY with the sink, many doors into all the rooms and the subway bathroom tile. Sabrina is an exceptional host who answered questions via e- mail weeks ahead regarding restaurant and beauty salon recommendations. Each of her recommendations were a 5 Star hit with Extended family all visiting for a nieces wedding. We loved walking to a little cafe for breakfast 2 mornings and drove to Another recommended restaurant on a roof top terrace for the family’s last night together. Sabrina’s B & B on the first floor was ideal for those of us with limited mobility. So many thoughtful amenities were left both in the kitchen ( bottled water, pretzels, cookies) and in the bathroom that truly exceeded what has greeted us in other rentals. Whether the temperatures were in the 70’s or the 90’s ( yes, it was that extreme in June) we were always comfortable with the climate inside our place. We are really hoping that another niece or nephew gets engaged so we can make reservations again at this wonderful rental with an outstanding host.

Exceptional experience
Let me say that I have used VRBO and other sites to stay over night and this maybe one of the best stays. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and owner was nothing but gracious throughout the entire check in, stay, and check out process. I would recommend anyone staying in New Haven area to stay here and I look forward to staying there again.
