We had an awesome stay here! A group of 10 of us came up for a getaway and the house was more than big enough for everyone. There was plenty of space to spread out, and having both an upstairs and downstairs living area was especially nice with a larger group.The private lake and beach in the backyard were definitely the highlight of the trip. We spent a ton of time out there using the kayaks, paddleboards, and other water toys, swimming, and just hanging out by the water. It was great being able to walk right out the back door and have so much to do without having to go anywhere.We also spent time over at Castle Rock Lake and loved being able to go back and forth between the private lake at the house and the main lake. Shipwreck Bay was another huge plus — it’s only about 5 minutes from the house and was a great place to grab some drinks and hang out. They also have boat and jet ski rentals, so it was really easy for us to get out on the main lake.The house itself was perfect for our group. With 10 people, we never felt cramped, and there were plenty of places to hang out both inside and outside. The game room was also a fun bonus, especially when we wanted to take a break from being outside.Overall, this was exactly the kind of lake getaway we were looking for. Between the private beach and lake, water toys, proximity to Castle Rock Lake, and nearby bars and boat/jet ski rentals, there was always something to do. Everyone in our group had a great time and we’d definitely come back!
