It’s The French Quarter. It’s gonna be a bit loud at times. Not somewhere you choose to stay when looking for complete silence. We would have been honest if asked. All you had to do is say you are looking for complete silence. We have properties that can accommodate complete silence as well. Asking makes things a lot easier and you run into less surprises.

Better than pictured!
We loved this apartment. It's better than the pics (I think the interior pics are actually of another unit). Bedrooms are bigger, living room space is HUGE, and the furniture was nice and comfy. The kitchen only had basics, but with all the fantastic restaurants within walking distance, it's not an issue. As other reviews stated, it is noisyyyyy. But it's NOLA, baby! The location makes up for it. Pack some earplugs and it's not bad at all. The main entrance is very nice, but we discovered another one closer to the apartment that exits through the attached parking garage. We never heard other neighbors. This place was well worth it and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the Quarter
Great location, easy to walk to everything. We had a great weekend in New Orleans! Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper because it is loud until about 3:00 am, but we expected that being so close to Bourbon St.

Great vacation spot right in the action
This was the perfect spot to spend Thanksgiving with my family and attend the Bayou Classic! We had the best time. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was exactly what we expected. There was plenty of space and it was located right in the heart of New Orleans! We will be back next year for sure!

Absolutely central to everything for walking. Perfect location. The noisy of the city is 24 hrs so sleep can be difficult unless you bring something to counter it. But thats true everywhere here. The condo is really nice. Check in is a little wonky but property manager is very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful weekend!
We celebrated my husband’s milestone birthday here and had a wonderful time. Marcus was very responsive and helpful during the check-in process. The location is amazing and we were able to walk to most of our favorite places, including the Superdome, which was less than a mile away. The place itself is awesome, with exposed brick and a large den. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, it easily accommodated everyone. A few cons, which didn’t bother us; however, could be a problem for some. The place is located in the middle of the action. Music is playing until after midnight, so bring something that makes white noise if you are a light sleeper. One bedroom has windows and is noisy; however, the second bedroom is windowless and very quite. The wifi is not great, the hot water in the front bathroom ran out quickly and the kitchen isn’t stocked well with basic supplies. Ultimately, this did not affect my rating, as it did not affect the quality our stay. We travel to NOLA a lot, as my husbands from there. This is one of the best place we have ever stayed in and would stay again without reservation when we are traveling without our kids.

It is near Bourbon St so if you party all night this is the place for you or bring ear plugs. Kitchen is light on pots/pans but basics are present. Check in instructions were to gain access to building wait for another resident to let you in was a little unnerving. Check out instructions just said where to return keys. Nothing about what cleaning was expected. Overall nice place

Renter beware
Renter beware First let’s start with the positive . This is a large 2 bedroom 2 bath newly refinished Apartment . It has comfortable beds and is really nice. The owners are very responsive to any contact. Now for the not so great. The first and biggest is the noise. This place is abt 1/2 block off Bourbon with lots of windows in both the living room and master bedroom . The windows are 2nd floor right on a busy side street. I’ve been to New Orleans many times and am familiar noise issues. It can noisy beyond belief. Our stay was 5 nights 4 of which were extremely noisy . We are talking loud until after 2 AM with garbage pickup at 4am and noise of The day starting by 7 or 8. If you’re a light sleeper you’d die. However do not despair , if you like to party and stay out late and will sleep thru anything after a night out this is your spot. If you go to bed earlier and like 7 or 8 hours of reasonable sleep this is not for you. The other issue is the fact the place is lacking the basics. There are No hand towels for the bathrooms or soap or body wash for showers. The kitchen lacks even the basics such as cutting board and cutting knives, dishwasher soap, Only one dish towel, no colander , nothing to bake anything in the oven with. It goes on, you get the idea The internet is very substandard . It’s spotty with a speeds in the 1-3 megabit Per second range and drops off frequently. We did finally find better speed in the living room at around 20mbs .

Great location, but property is lacking...
The property is in a great location if you are looking for walking downtown. It is noisy at night, as it is on the corner of Bourbon St. The unit is an apartment in a building with signs posted throughout stating "DH Holmes is a private residence. Short term rentals are prohibited. Any violators will be required to leave the property". To check in, you have to go to the lobby door and wait for someone to exit to get in, as the doors are locked. The unit itself had the number of bed (2) and bath (2) we were expecting, but in no way looked like the pics posted. Be sure to bring your own toiletries. The only things there were some that others had left. No hand towels for the baths. Only one bath rug. We don't cook a lot on vaca, but don't plan on cooking unless you bring pans and utensils you need. Nothing to use the oven, no spatula to flip an egg, a warped frying pan that wouldn't lie flat on the burner, etc... We give it an okay rating based solely on location. We would not stay here again.

Hi! You may not have been operating cable and WiFi correctly. You could have called us. Cable and WiFi work perfectly. Water temps are set accordingly not to burn. We have no issues with any of these. I don’t understand why you guys did not reach out if there were issues. We are here to help.

Nice apartment…
The apartment is really nice in an industrial way. I wouldn’t call it well-appointed. It might be a new property and all the things aren’t there yet… blankets, extra pillows, dressers, bath mats, enough toilet paper, clothes hangers, wifi, kitchen utensils…. The property was very clean. Being less than a block off of Bourbon on the Canal side of the Quarter, this is not the place for people who like to sleep in a peaceful environment. Thank you though, for the opportunity to stay here for a long weekend.

Unfortunately I did not get to stay at the property. I reached out the day before check in and was notified the morning of check in that my reservation had been cancelled due to current guests having Covid. Guess those guests coming in and out of the property without masks had much disregard for others. I was stranded in the city with no place to stay and unable to find any accommodations. I would have appreciated better communication and honesty regarding the situation….as a medical professional as well.

Clean and comfy but smells like smoke
This place is in a great location, it’s super close to lots of nice streets for walking. The beds were really comfy and the place is spacious and clean. The building that the apartment is in is also really cool and feels safe. The only downside of this place was that it smelled heavily of smoke. The next day my hair and clothes smelled like smoke unfortunately.

Great location however....
The location was great. This spot was near everything. it was very quiet even though we were so close to many attractions. However, online it said there were two beds and a blow up bed. So that was great for the three of us but the blow up deflated and we had to sleep together. The bathroom floor was not swept or mopped. The rags and towels didn't smell clean and they needed to be replaced. They were old and shabby. Overall,. I would stay again if I brought my own towels.

Okay, this place was amazing!!! Location was perfect: 1/2 block from Bourbon Street, short walk to anything in the French Quarter, short walk to the street cars, etc. The roof patio with a pool was amazing. The accommodations were clean and had everything we needed (except maybe laundry soap but there's a Walgreens super close). Had a small snafu with getting communication about checking in, but all ended well. Here's the asterisk: do your research!!! Sounds like New Orleans is cracking down on short term vacation rentals. There were signs posted everywhere on the property that short term vacation rentals under 30 days are not allowed. And, on the last day we were there, they posted another sign giving the explanation that it's a city ordinance and that if you are found to be renting one of the apartments through VRBO or other short term rental places that you will be asked to leave. Here's the deal: we had zero issues with this while we were there. However, you should do your due diligence. Anyways, if the short term rental issue turns out to not be a thing, we highly recommend staying here! For the price and what you get in the accommodations, you won't find a better deal. property location was great! The unit is cute! It needs a good deep clean, very dusty(fake plants, cabinets, walls and the only 2 chairs need massive cleaning) There was suppose to be a couch, owner said it broke and was on order. There are towels but ZERO hand towels in kitchen and bathroom. When we arrived I had to throw in bath mats in laundry, both very gross. Also had to wash bedroom quilt. But the property was a great location. We were worried about all the signs in building about not allowing VRBOs and would be asked to leave. No one asked us anything so that was ok. Make sure you bring K cups for coffee and some extra toilet paper. We never cooked in unit but it didnt look like much to work with.

Just as Described
The location of this property is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the French Quarter and/or party on Bourbon Street. This condo is in walking distance of everything and right around the corner from Bourbon Street but once you are inside you cannot hear any of the commotion! Preston was amazing helping us out with any needs through out or stay! The parking garage is around the corner from the condo entrance but there is convenient access to the building. It’s Totally worth it to pay the $30 per night fee for the convenient parking in the quarter with access to the building the condo is in! The condo was actually more spacious than I expected! It’s perfect for a couple or friends (small group) traveling together. We will definitely be trying to book again for our next trip to New Orleans!

Great location but paid for parking
Great location! Just a few steps to Bourbon, the apartment could use a deep cleaning. It has “Parking” listed as an amenity, it is not. The building has its own parking garage yes but you have to pay. Three days of parking adds up. We were able to find a cheaper parking garage close by.

There were a few hiccups, but Preston took care of all my concerns the minute I brought it to his attention. I contacted him at 9:00 AM, and he was at the unit an hour later; on a Sunday, let me add. You would be hard pressed to find better customer service. The unit was as seen in the pictures. No surprises. Good location and secure building.

Not a bourbon street balcony, but you’re literally ten steps away. Property owner was always..always available to answer questions. Only improvement needed was body hair in bathroom and lack of sheets under the comforter.

They let me Check-in early and were accommodating even though there was a misunderstanding regarding payment needing to be paid within 15 days prior to booking. Apartment was clean, location was amazing, quiet inside even though the street was mayhem during Mardi Gras. I would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

It would be an easy fix to make this 5 star!
Although we paid extra to have 4 people stay, the bed for the second couple was broken and could not be used. The inflatable leaked! The first night was a disaster and we could not get an answer from the manager. we did not have the wifi numbers for Day#1. Day #2 our concerns were addressed. Also a few pods of coffee should be left in the kitchen for the first day.
