Location was really convenient. It's just about a 2 block walk from Bourbon Street and the rest of the French Quarter. Our room was clean and super quiet! Staff was helpful and friendly. We felt safe because you can't get into the building without your room key.

Never experienced a Hilton property before where there was no coffee in the lobby after 9 am. Security on ground floor was non existent as the doors to the parking garage were never locked. Otherwise a pleasant stay in a great location.

The facilities are good, though it would help to have a desk in the room. The decor is most eloquent. While I was there for 4 days I hardly saw a person, which felt quite wierd. I finally spoke to a cleaner on my last day, she was quite friendly and helpful.

Clean and close to the French Quarter. Quiet, both inside the hotel & the surrounding area. We were able to walk or catch the streetcar to any destination we wanted in New Orleans.

This was a pretty good place within walking distance of downtown and the French Quarter. The entry setup feels safe but some places walking around feel a little sketchy and are smelly. The bar is closed - possibly permanently. It’s very convenient having a full breakfast and dinner ordering option, though the breakfast was often pretty slow which made me late for a meeting. Much of the staff was helpful.

This property is poorly maintained with inadequate staff. The Valets were the only good part about this experience. They were professional and helpful. My daughter and I were supposed to stay Monday through Friday. We ended just cutting the trip short on Wednesday. We had such a horrible experience at the hotel that we left New Orleans early. The room was filthy. The front desk staff were very unprofessional and rude. Do not stay here.

The hotel was clean and smelled nice. The bed was comfortable and the black out curtains made for a great night sleep. If they could add 2 more pillows to the king size bed it would have been perfect.

After checking into room 1422 on April 4 we wanted to leave for dinner, and we found out that the door did not lock correctly and could be pushed open from the outside! Some house staff member came to perform what looked like a fix for the problem. As there were also toilet cleanliness issues, the front desk manager offered to reimburse us for the first night. In the night from April 5 to 6, my wife heard someone manipulating the door, woke me up, and once they heard us talking, whoever was out there left. As we were leaving the room the next morning, we discovered that the door again did not lock and had to check with the front desk to get the door lock taken care off again. This caused us significant concern for our safety and added stress as we needed to get to our tour. When we returned from our tour in the afternoon, we moved to room 1707, which was a downgrade from the room category that we had booked and created additional unnecessary work on our vacation. Additionally, we observed that the foyer with the hotel elevators is accessible via an open door to the adjacent parking garage. Every evening when we returned to the hotel, we noticed that the door remained open, further undermining the security of the hotel. Taken together with the incomplete door lock "fixes" we are wondering if all of this is done intentionally by the house staff to allow robbers to get access to the rooms. This is not a safe hotel!

The Hotel is conveniently located with very close access to several dining options and short walking distance to Canal Street and Bourbon Street. Rooms were very clean with several amenities and friendly staff. Only issue was the language barrier as most of the staff were non-english speaking so communication was a challenge at times. Would definitely recommend staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel.

This property is in an okay location, but the rooms are extremely outdated. The front desk attendant was so pleasant, which was probably the best part of this hotel. Valet attendants were beyond rude during the day time and extremely nice at night. They tell you to call down 10 minutes early, just to call down, come down and still no vehicle. Oh, and then sometimes I call down and no answer. For $40 a day…never again.

-The location was quiet good. -The fact that the reception is not on ground level and that they close the entry after 10pm is not facilitating the check-in for the latecomers. - The safe in our room was broken. They said they would replace the broken piece but nothing happened during our 3 nights stay. We had to leave our valuables in the reception during the day. When we wanted to take them back they couldn’t find where they were.

The location is convienent. If you’re looking for a bed and shower this place is fine. The dining room experience has much to be desired. On one evening, the iPad to order food was not working so I could not order or pay for food… staff directed me to a QR code on a card which was not in my room so we skipped dinner that night. This place definitely does not meet the standards of other Hilton Garden establishments that I have stayed in.

The room was very spacious and clean. The only issues I had were that there were no luggage carts to be found upon check-in or check-out, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The mattress felt very worn and cheap. After a long day of walking the quarter, the mattress was not the ideal resting spot. I ended up sleeping one night in the chair in the room due to how uncomfortable the mattress was.

The property was very good for business people but seemed to lack a family atmosphere. The front desk clerks were outstanding. You had to use a tablet to order food for meals. My wife asked one of the cooks for a straw to drink a soda and was told there were not any available. Less than a minute later she saw the cook put straws in a bag for a carryout meal.
