New Orleans Area Waterfront Home (BC) Prachtig ingericht - Beau Chene

Beau Chene bevindt zich in Slidell, een buitenwijk van New Orleans. Het ligt op 25 minuten van de Franse wijk en op een klein eindje rijden met de I-10. Het huis is een huis met vijf slaapkamers met twee grote slaapkamers en drie kleinere slaapkamers. De woning is in 2019 volledig gerenoveerd en alles erin is nieuw. Designmeubels worden professioneel gepland en geïmplementeerd. Prachtige accenten en kunstwerken. Grote woonkamer met een tv met groot scherm. Nieuwe apparaten en keukenaccessoires. Gezellige leeskamer met uitzicht op het water. Groot dek met meerdere banken en zachte stoelen. Grote buiten eettafel voor buiten dineren. Mooie grote eikenboom die over het dek hangt en een grote schaduwrijke zithoek biedt. Het dek ligt op slechts 15 voet van het water. Er is een enorm 60 ft. Dok met diepe toegang tot water via de boot. Neem uw boot en kinderen mee en zwem, ski, vis en boot in Lake Pontchartrain. Het meer ligt op 5 minuten varen van het dok. Er is een groot dek met plaats voor acht en extra stoelen voor overloop. Het huis ligt op 7 minuten van enkele van de beste vissen in het land. U kunt zelfs direct vanaf het dok in de voortuin vissen. Er is fenomenale vissen in de Rigolets in de buurt met ongelooflijk zout water vissen en toegang tot zoet water vissen binnen 20 minuten per boot.

Je kunt de hele dag in het water of op de boot spelen en 's nachts de French Quarter bereiken voor veel plezier en feesten als geen ander. Je kunt een Uber, taxi of rijden nemen. Geweldig van twee koppels of een gezin. Er is een slaapbank voor overflow slapen in de woonkamer. De woning heeft een mooie stock-keuken met alle nieuwe apparaten. Er is een dubbele oven en een groot fornuis. Het huis heeft een grote werkende open haard en een grote eetkamer met een tafel die uitzet tot stoel 8. Geweldig voor familiebijeenkomsten en grote maaltijden.

De woning heeft 2 kingsize bedden, 3 queensize bed, twee stapelbedden, 1 queensize slaapbank. Geschikt voor 8 volwassenen en 4 kinderen. Maximaal aantal volwassenen is 8 toegestaan voor dit huis.

The property wasn't very clean we all washed all the bedding before sleeping in beds. The stove had a huge, huge crack bad on the eyes needs to be replaced asap. There was leaks and smelled moldy. There was mold around the vents upstairs and the host can care less. She was very tentative at first but check in day she did not return my email. If feel we should not have to pay a cleanung fee because we had to clean before we unpacked because of the smell.

Beautiful stay for daughters wedding

What a wonderful house it was beautiful and had plenty of space for us all. Perfect for a large family. We had beautiful weather and loved sitting out on the patio. The drive way is steep so if you are in a sedan the bottom will scrape but the SUV was fine.

Nice place to stay

This property is quite lovely with a very relaxing outdoor setting. It's close to New Orleans so you can easily make a day trip to the city. There was a few things that needed to be cleaned, replaced or fixed on the property (a ceiling fan, coffee maker, dish towels...) but nothing that would stop you from enjoying your stay (at least not for us.). Our only issues was a water main that broke and shut down the water for the neighborhood for a number of hours. We made due with getting gallons of water from the grocery store. The other issue was the sign on the neighbors property saying "VRBO renters not are not welcome" and another sign stating that the person that owes the property is in violation of court order and we could be evicted and him fined $500 a day. Not something you want to see while on vacation. We didn't have any problems with the neighbors but we were a quit group.

Lovely and quiet

This property was clean and quiet. The neighbor had some signs indicating his dislike of being next to a VRBO, but he didn't cause us any issues. It's within a 30 minute drive to the French quarter, so close enough to go daily without being in the hustle and bustle of NOLA. The view is fantastic. The driveway is quiet steep if you have a lower sitting car, so be conscious of the angle you pull in. We found the upstairs bathtub to be very slick. But overall I would definitely stay at this location again. It was competitively priced for the location and had enough room for us all.

Beautiful Property

Our entire family loved this house. It was conveniently located, close to the interstate. Being able to fit our large group on the back patio without feeling like we were on top of each other was a huge plus. A couple of things to be aware of, although this wouldn't discourage me from renting again, but more like side notes...The neighborhood makes it very clear that they don't want short term renters there. A big sign when you drive in as well as signs pointed directly at this house did not make us feel welcomed. The driveway is very steep, if you have a car you may have to park in the street to keep from bottoming out. Also, the manager of the property must manage many properties, because they had a difficult time answering specific questions about the property. Lastly, you must pay a deposit AND pay for insurance, which wasn't listed under the total price until after I started the rental process. Again, all just little things that I would have liked to have known beforehand, but still would have rented.

Quiet area just outside from everything

Location (if you don't want to be in the heart of the city) is perfect. Short ride to the NO city attractions and a short ride to the gulf beaches to the east. One neighbor definitely does not like the VRBO but he never bothered us. Off the water so watch it with little kids but the elevated deck (we had a 2 and 5 year old) made it easier to keep them away and watch them.

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was perfect for our family. There is plenty of space to spread out, dishes and cookware provided, and the view in back is awesome. Although the neighbors sign "VRBO Renters not welcomed" was a little off putting at first, we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

The home and setting were perfect for our extended family. Unfortunately, the neighborhood is in a law suit with the owner and one neighbor is especially hostile. The advertised boat was not there. No discount was offered. We had plumbing problems which the property manager was quick to address.

Family Vacation 2022 Louisiana

Wonderful home, spacious and extremely clean. Very peaceful neighborhood. Had an issue with Pontoon boat rental, we think it was double booked. But the back deck made up for any inconvenience. Close to New Orleans, traveled there for Mardi Gras, about 45 minutes in traffic. Renters should know that the driveway is on a steep incline. We would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking at this area.

I loved the layout of the home. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 on the lower level. The community area is on the middle floor which is nice because anyone how hits the sack early is not disturbed by noise. I also loved having 3 bathroom and a private garage area. The decorating is unique and fun. And the beds and furniture are comfortable.
