Wurthmann House Unit #1 Your Home Away From Home

The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored two bedroom suite upstairs features chestnut window and floor trim, hardwood floors, locally-made Amish furniture, and beautiful views of historic downtown Berlin.

Everything about this property is wonderful. It is so clean, decorated beautifully, comfortable beds, incredible shower. Our favorite part was spending time on the outdoor patio in the morning with coffee & in the evening watching the sun go down. This was a great place to stay, right in the middle of everything!! Check-in was super easy and the kitchen area was the perfect for our needs. Loved having the refrigerator with ice & water. You can’t beat the location-personal parking spot right in the of Berlin. Beyond clean and supplied with everything you need. I was in the king sized bed this trip and incredible comfy and cozy. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Travels with a baby!

To end our visit with our daughter in Ohio, we took her and 9 month old Harrison for a mini vacation in Berlin. What a charming place to stay! The location was perfect, walking distance to so many places. The facility itself was a sweet surprise. So many charming details throughout. As it was a first time trip with a crawler, we were very happy to see there was a baby gate provided! It very much met all of our needs. So many thoughtful touches throughout. Our stay was our 3rd time, and each time was perfect. The rooms were very big, everything was extremely clean, and smelled fantastic. When you stay there, you feel so at home, in a gorgeous decorated place. The owners are very nice and accommodating. When we needed extras they brought them right over. I can't wait to stay here again.
