We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel has the sweetest staff and they will assist with any question/request! The older rooms are a bit outdated but still very clean! The renovated rooms are absolutely perfect and the suites are HUGE! The fact that they don’t serve breakfast is not an issue whatsoever as there are many breakfast options across, next or within 1min walking distance. The street is carfree but it is still Broadway, you can’t really expect a soundproof room. It didnt bother us at all except on 1 saturday evening when there was a party across the street. Subway station in 1 minute walking distance. Honestly I cannot wait to come back, which we are in about 6 months! Highly recommended!!

Hi Sunil:Thank you for your business and for sharing your comments. We apologize that you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. We are in the middle of a guestroom renovation and have completed approximately 60% of the rooms. You reserved a Superior room which was last renovated in 2016-2017. The Deluxe rooms are the new renovated rooms which are all 4 star quality and the price difference is nominal. The guestroom carpets are cleaned every 3 months but unfortunately certain coffee and wine stains from guests are not able to be removed but we do clean them quarterly and are a very clean hotel overall. We had plans to renovate the rooms starting in 2020 but COVID delayed us for a few years. We are in full swing and once completed, will be 4 stars in all aspects. We hope you will give us another opportunity to win your confidence as we are ranked in the top15% of all NYC hotels and we take great pride in that. We hope to see you back with us. Prima verblijf.
Goed verblijf, ligging hotel is super. Vriendelijk personeel, behulpzaam!! Op één van onze verblijfsdagen sprak t kamermeisje ons aan of zij vast de handdoeken op de kamermocht leggen. Dat mocht. Vervogens kregen we een ook nog een lading shampoo en bodylotion in de handen gedrukt. Later vroegen we bij de receptie of dit nu ook betekende dat onze kamer niet schoon gemaakt zou worden. Er werd ons verzekerd dat de kamer zeker nog gedaan werd. Bij terugkomst bleek echter het tegenovergestelde. We hebben er maar geen werk van gemaakt, we hadden tenslotte een heerlijke tijd in NYC!!

This is a great hotel. We had a renovated room and it was HUGE. We did have a lack of hot water at times when showering but it wasn’t too bad. Hotel staff were helpful and attentive. Great location in Flatiron district. I would definitely staff here again!

Fabulous hotel & staff. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Broadway turns into a pedestrian only street lined with cafes, and stretches several blocks from the front door of the hotel down past the Flatiron building. I will definitely stay here again.

This property is great. We have a big family and this hotel was one of the few that could accommodate us in one room. The rates aren’t cheap but they are reasonable. The hotel itself is cute and stylish in the lobby. The rooms are comfortable and transitional in style. The staff is really friendly and the location is fantastic. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Some great shopping spots close by too, and everything is super walkable. We would walk or take the train to most places. It’s also relatively safe even at night. Although it seems that unless you are in very specific areas, New York has some very dynamic characters everywhere you go, but we weren’t bothered by anyone. The only thing I would say needs improvement is that the carpet in the room seemed dirty, but not because it wasn’t vacuumed, more so it is saturated in dirty and it seems old. And second, the bathroom shower tiles had a little mold on them, but I’ve seen worse. Outside of that, everything else was perfect.

The room you stayed in was recently gutted and renovated within the last year with all new furniture, fixtures and carpet so was very surprised to hear the comment about the carpet being dirty and old as we also routinely shampoo all guest rooms every 3 months. We will look into it and remedy immediately. As far as the bathroom, it is cleaned daily but we are currently going through each bathroom and doing a deep cleaning of all tile and grout. You stayed in one of our Superior rooms, which were last renovated in 2016-2017 and are all slated for renovation. We are planning to complete all renovations by fall or early winter. So far, we have renovated approximately 71% of our guest rooms, now classified as Deluxe rooms. These rooms are of 4-star quality, look amazing, and are available for reservation. We always recommend choosing the newly renovated Deluxe rooms over the Superior rooms, as the price difference is nominal. Additionally, we will be adding bathrobes and slippers, as well as other amenities like workout rooms. We will also eventually have both an indoor and outdoor observation deck for all guests to enjoy our incredible views of the Empire State Building. We hope to see you back with us again. The experience at this hotel was very good overall, and would recommend it, but it's not of 4-star quality. Positive: This hotel had by far the largest and most comfortable rooms of all the hotels in New York I've stayed in previously. Staff are very friendly. Room service cleaning was good, but deep cleaning needs improvement. I stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, and the bathroom tiles already had grime on them. They provide water every day with room service, that’s pretty good. Hotel is very well located. Negative: The hotel is currently under construction, and workers use the same lift as guests, causing delays. It is even used at any time, and guests are not given priority. That's quite annoying. Toiletries are super basic, and no slippers; no bathrobes. The hotel is located on Broadway street, so it's extremely noisy, and the room windows are not airtight, so you can hear everything from the room.

Guests are certainly given priority but certain deliveries, depending how large can impact access but it is on an occasional basis only. We are only a 69 room boutique hotel and we are currently renovating the 10th floor and there is only one elevator that accesses floors 8-13. Most days the workers don't impact the elevator but we received some big furniture deliveries during your stay. We do our best to try and not inconvenience any guests and all work stops by 4 PM. We were very surprised by your comments about the guest rooms as the room you first stayed in was literally brand new and only 9 days old at that time. The second room was also a newly renovated Deluxe room and we believe they are 4 star quality with many amenities and much larger than most NYC hotels. We are currently ranked #36 in all of NYC's hotels, which is an amazing accomplishment that we have worked hard to get. are proud of and we think, is well-deserved. We will address the bathrooms immediately. They are cleaned daily so surprised there would be any grime build up but we appreciate you letting us know. We will be adding bathrobes and slippers eventually as well as other amenities like workout rooms, in the next 6-9 months. Eventually will have an indoor and outdoor observation deck for all guest's to enjoy our incredible views of the Empire State Building. Again, our apologies and we hope to see you back with us again. I checked in, was sent to the wrong room, and walked in on a couple sleeping- scaring them and me! How is it possible that key worked?!? I went back downstairs to let the receptionist know and they didn’t even apologize. Terrible service. And surely unsafe if anyone with a key can walk into your room. Put you door latch on if you stay here.

Great location and price for a girls weekend. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were updated and clean, good size, held our bags all day after check out. It is pretty loud outside at night with stereos on pedicabs, but that’s NYC. Not the hotel’s fault. Fast, quick walk to subway or walkable to other great areas. Nespresso pods, snacks and water included in the fees were very nice to have!

Hi Stephanie:We were very surprised and disappointed seeing you gave us a 1-star rating and kindly request you reconsider your score. You did not stay with us and called the hotel at approximately 8:15 PM-8:30 PM on April 16 to cancel your non-refundable reservation arriving the following day on April 17. Although this was not refundable and made through a 3rd party, we still made every effort to assist you with your late cancellation request and accommodate you by bending the rules and offering a refund if we were able to resell the room. You were instructed to cancel your reservation through Expedia right away since it was booked and charged through them and we needed you to do that so we had the inventory back to resell it. The reservation still had not been canceled the following day on 4/17 and we even followed up with you and called you at approximately 4:30 PM to find out if you were coming since we had not received the cancellation. You informed us you were not, and we still offered you the flexibility with the non-refundable terms and conditions and once again told you to please cancel the room. That still took another 2 hours before we eventually received the cancellation at 6:37 PM, leaving very little time to try and resell the room. We did our best but unfortunately were unsuccessful. To then gave us a low score after we tried to assist you in every way, bending the rules that you agreed to, is not fair nor warranted in any way. If anything, we feel we provided you attentive and caring customer service and if anything, would be given a high score for our efforts. We hope you agree. Thank you.

While the lobby is impressive & staff were friendly, the room was awful. Walls of windows covered in louvered shades that don't fully close - no way to darken the room for sleeping. Old acoustic tile ceiling with fluorescent lighting. Starched, scratchy bed linens. Bathroom tissues were wafer thin. The room was extremely warm and the end table sized a/c unit in the room did not work. overall a hard pass for next time

We were surprised and disappointed to see your feedback, and we can only apologize that you were not 100% satisfied with your stay. You reserved a Superior King bedded room, which are our older rooms last renovated in 2016 and are very well maintained, as our reviews attest to. We are in the middle of a guestroom renovation and are currently gutting all rooms, bathrooms, and hallways, and are approximately 70% complete. The new Deluxe rooms are 4-star quality in all aspects and a dramatic difference and upgrade from the Superior rooms, well worth the nominal 20 difference in price. Eventually, all Superior rooms will become Deluxe rooms once renovated. We are also adding an observation deck for all guests to enjoy once completed. We hope you will give us another opportunity to earn your confidence and look forward to welcoming you back soon. Have a great day!

Jederzeit wieder-absoluter Geheimtipp. Die Lage des Hotels ist top, Subway nur einen Block entfernt. Empire, Time Square, Flatiron toll zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel renoviert gerade die Zimmer, wir hatten ein noch nicht renoviertes, es war jedoch sehr sauber und für NY riesig und mit 2 großen Fenstern sehr hell. Das gesamte Personal ist ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel wirkt, dadurch, dass es nicht so groß ist, fast familiär. Jeden Tag Wasser und Kaffee Kapseln auf dem Zimmer.
