Good location and friendly staff
Hostel is well located, close to subway stations and Central Park. There are many cafes, restaurants and some small supermarkets nearby. The room is clean, with blanket and towel provided and there is a sink. Staffs are friendly and helpful, they help you where possible. Wifi works well, even at the top floor where I stayed (though at some other corners it's lost). Some lesser points is that my room has no lockers inside and the air conditioning makes a lot of noise when it is turned on. The window can't be opened. Blanket is only a thin piece and the heating is only turned on as from a certain period of the year, but you ask and get extra blanket at the reception. In the kitchen there's no possibility to cook, but at least there is a microwave with grill, water cooker and toaster. The elevator is slow but functioning. You can also borrow a hairdryer at the reception (you only need to give your id card until you return the hairdryer). There is a small deposit for the key which you get back when you return the key.

Very nice and affordable place on a good location!
Staff is very friendly, always willing to help. The hotel is clean, shared bathrooms are cleaned very often during the day. And it's not shared like you are in a big bathroom with more people, once you're in it's all yours. We had a dormitory room which is very basic, but was also cleaned every day, your bed made and every day clean towels. Mattresses are comfortable. We only missed an other chair (had one) and a small table would have been nice. Also missed something next to the bed, to put your phone etc on. Downstairs is a cozy living room and kitchen which you can use. The location is good as well, 20 minutes by subway 1 to Times Square and in the neighbourhood you find enough bars and restaurants. We would absolutely recommend this place!

Zoek nog maar even verder.
Vlakbij metrostation, dus prima te doen. Hostel stinkt overal, schoonmaak personeel maakt je heel vroeg wakker met hun geschreeuw. Er woont ook iemand vast in het hostel die spuugt in de badkamers wat te smerig voor woorden is. Als je er alleen komt om te slapen is het prima te doen, maar verwacht niet dat je lekker rustig slaapt. En nee, geen hulp bij tickets en ook geen ontbijt, behalve een oude muffin.

Goedkoop hotel op goed bereikbare locatie
Behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel maar (hostel)kamer niet in ontzettend goede staat, vooral badkamer kan wel een onderhoudsbeurt gebruiken. WiFi is ronduit slecht, maar in een enkel geval valt er nog wel wat op te zoeken in de kamer. Als het niet om het uiterlijk gaat is het een oke slaapplek voor een laag bedrag.

Eenvoudig hotel, maar schoon!
Het hotel voldeed aan ons verwachtingen. Datgene wat je nodig had voor een bezoek aan een stad was er. Goed bed en een lekkere douche. Het vertier zoek je buiten het hotel

Was een fijn hotel 5minuten van de Subway alleen werd midden in de nacht wakker omdat de politie een deur verder op de deur was aan het bonken maar dat heeft meer te maken met de persoon dan met het hotel personeel is aardig niet heel veel luxe maar het was sowieso het hostel gedeelte je moet niet meer verwachten dat een bed en een plek voor je spullen te droppen het sanitair werd overiguns goed bijgehouden

Prima lokatie, vlakbij subway en central park.
Fijne rustige plek om vanuit daar New York te ontdekken. Vlakbij central park. Én aan de overkant ontnijt je héérlijk!

Recommended hotel
The hotel was close to the subway station which headed to several well known places and left frequently. Furthermore, the hotel staff is very friendly. Our plane had a delay which caused us to arrive at 3 AM and the hotel stayed open to wait for us. The rooms were pretty basic, but in a city like New York, you don't need a fancy room. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here.

El lugar es muy agradable, lo malo es que no tenia lavandería y toca ir 4 bloques a buscar y se acabo el papel higiénico y dos días tocó esperar a que pusieran. Tocó comprar uno ya que limpiaban el baño y no ponían otro rollo.

There's rats in their trash alley. You can hear them rummaging through the trash. It's common in NY though but they should get better traps and an exterminator.

I love this place. I was able to see the city in a weekend this place is cheap, clean and amazing. The location for that price is really nice is near a train station and the area is nice so i feel safe. I hope they keep the prices lol.

Hotel is very nice Location in great Price is great Rooms we stayed just needs a little updating and sound proofing We could hear everything from the hallway in our room clearly so I’m sure the hallway could hear from our room Other than that staff were superb Location 2 streets away from subway Bars, diners, atms, grocery store, Starbucks right around hotel Will definitely use again

This property was filty. Satined rugs in room and hallways We used aan infrared light to reveal urine stains throughout. Because the room and halls are so underline this was not observable when I first booked the room and inspected it before my daughter arrived. The room int he photo is entirely different from the dark, underlighted room i was assigned.

The room was spacious, with two queen beds, and accurately represented in the photo. While we have no complaints with the room itself, when we returned one evening, there was what appeared to be a cockroach crawling on the wall. The atmosphere on the floor we were (third) was also quite strange, with an unpleasant smell in the corridor.

Good value for the price
The hotel is at upper West near Central Park and arriving to the city center is very easy since a subway station is 200 meters from the hotel. The hotel crew was very kind. The hotel is very clean and organized. The problem for me was the small size of the room and the minimal clothes which left very little space in the room, specially when this is a common room. But at last - the hotel has good value to the price with great location.

Overall decent. The room was in good condition, and clean and put together. I would keep in mind this is a hostel-it has shared bathrooms, and not many frills. My room had two beds, a sink, a wardrobe with shelves for towels and a rack for clothes, and I think a desk. The separate wardrobe with towels right there was nice, and the sink right in the room too. If other rooms have this sink I don’t know. Overall a nice stay. I would let housekeeping know that the bathroom didn’t have a bath mat on the floor.

Central location, clean place, 6 minutes from a subway station, and 15 minutes from Central park. It was very noisy at night. The windows face Broadway and there is no good window panel but rather thin AC plastic cover. Bring ear plugs to sleep at night.
