Lekker centraal gelegen
Prima hotel, jammer van het soms ongeinereseerde personeel, roeten niet eens als je binnen komt of weggaat. Als je meer dan 1 probleem tegelijk doorgeeft, lossen ze alleen het eerste op. Verder een zeer net hotel met een mooie kamers.

Excellent hotel
For a three star hotel the Wyndham is excellent. Modern rooms. Our room was quite large (we expected much smaller based on the stories we read about room sizes in NY). We had our own kitchen (did not use it), sofa and bathroom (with tv). The sofa was a bit outdated and the bed was too small for me (I am 6'4). I had to sleep diagonally. Nice shower (enough pressure and hot). Location is excellent. Only a 5 minute walk from grand central and about 15 minutes to Times Square. Great deli nearby where we bought our breakfast. Don't use the expensive wifi ($15). NY has lots of free wifi spots. We were on the 20th floor (at the back) and did not hear any traffic. Walls are a bit thin though.

Goed hotel maar opfrissing nodig
Buiten dat er wat opfrissing van het hotel mag gebeuren zijn we over het algemeen tevreden. Het personeel was steeds behulpzaam en vriendelijk en de kamers waren steeds zeer netjes en proper. Op 2 minuten van een metro ingang en een kwartiertje wandelen van Time Square. We waren met 4 volwassenen en hadden een 2 kamer suite geboekt, prijs kwaliteit waarschijnlijk niet beter te vinden voor deze oppervlakte in New York. Een mooi zicht op de Chrisler building.

Our first time & we Love this place. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful room very spacious with good views. Loved everything about this place & my daughter loved the tv in the bathroom, made bath time more enjoyable! Definitely an added plus.

Very nice property but there are a couple of misleading things on the expedia listing. Firstly there is no pool like on the listing. And secondly they will try to pull you in to a timeshare presentation. Which you can obviously politely decline but it does take a little more time on check-in. The property itself was beautiful and the rooms were a great value. Overall I think it's worth the two quirks listed above (and you can even get some free stuff if you sit through the 2 hours!).

Bra läge, bra rum, trevlig personal, bra pris, trevlig uteplats. Ingen frukost, ingen städning, ingen pool. Förvaring av bagage. Några minuters promenad från ”Grand Central Station”.

Tive pontos positivos e negativos: Negativos: não ter café da manhã, não ter serviço de camareiras não houve troca de toalhas,sampoos , retirada de lixo e arrumar a cama. Check out é até às 10 horas da manhã. Na recepção após o check in, você não vai para o quarto enquanto não passar por um pelotão de vendedores te oferecendo para ser associado do complexo que eles tem. Positivos: localização excelente da para ir a pé na ONU, Broadway, Mancys, Grand Station, Edificio Summit, Biblioteca. Oferecem atividade no 34°andar com uma vista espetacular da cidade teve dia que serviram espumante, outro um oficina de pintura. Chuveiro , cama, traveseiros excelentes, disponibilizam no quarto uma cafeteira , ferro de passar, secador de cabelo e no terreo e no terraço tem uma máquina de café e de chocolate quente grátis.

for four days nobody cleaned the room. Had to call for towels or coffee. The internet did not work and i was given a phone number to contact. I heard a lot of things about my devices when it was obvious that it was a problem with the wifi. Lost more than one hour with this with no result. A terrible view of the room. Never again on this property.

Once a beautiful boutique hotel, this is now a scammy “time share” from Wyndham. Disgusting and disappointed.

The security was terrible. I had an incident wirh someone staying there and they did nothing. Also i left a valuable coat befind and they said it wasnt there so someone stole it. I demand a full refund or you will be hearing from my lawyer..

Decent clean room. Fair price. But do not let them give you the pressured sales pitch for their timeshare. As you check in someone whisks you to the side and makes you think the pitch is part of the check in process. It is not! Then when you come and go some salesperson tries again to get you to listen to a 90 minute pitch to buy a timeshare. Oh, they promise you something. Also, everyone has their hand out for a tip. Bringing your bags in, getting you a cab, etc. But the room was reasonably nice and clean but very small. Expected for New York City.

Time share property - No thanks!
I would like to say this hotel is not the type to stay at if you want resort like amenities. They do not service your room and you are required to visit the front desk for any toiletries that are standard with a hotel stay. Visiting the front desk was unpleasant. The only time I felt like the staff was attentive was when I first arrived, but that is only because they really tried to sell me on a 90 minute time share meeting. I would have never stayed here if I was properly informed by hotels.com what I was getting myself into. Needless to say I didn’t agree to a time share pitch after that I became almost invisible. The ladies at the front desk had stand-off demeanors and not hospitable at all. Secondly, I ordered in food and some how they seem so inconvenienced by it and urged that I go get it outside the front door. Trust me there are so many other options in this area that could make your stay in NYC so much more comfortable. The slight discounted price is not worth your time here.

Timeshare request upon checkin
Check in was very hectic as someone was vacuuming while loud music was playing and were trying to talk thru glass with mask, but the worst part was we had to talk to a time share saleman trying to convince us to come to a presentation. We were so tired from traveling and walking all day so this 30 minute awkward conversation was not fun! Once we got in, the room was clean and comfyy, location was pretty good.

It was very convenient to my meetings across the street. The lobby was tiny but this is NYC. The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. They made up for the Covid protected surroundings.

Hotel is just ok. There are constant pressures, including phone calls, to attend a time share sessions even though my days were full of meetings and I had no time. The rooms were awfully hot and there was no way to lower the heat or open windows and promises that “engineer” would be up never materialized. Finally, check out time is 10 am but at that time, only one elevator worked and I could not get one until 10:40. By that time my Uber driver left without me and I missed my time to check in luggage, and I had to reschedule my flight at a cost of $350. Just no to this hotel.

Great stay! Central to great restaurants and transportation. Although this is a time share campus they were not too pushy. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting NYC for leisure and plan to stay again.
