Big room. Got a free upgrade!! Room was very clean and the staff was very nice! Unfortunately the airco didn’t work very well but we could open the windows for fresh air! There was free coffee and tea. They cleaned the room everyday and got fresh towels everyday! Subway is a 6 minute walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend!! I was a little bit worried because I’ve read a lot of negative reviews but the hotel was nothing but amazing!

Pictures didn’t match the actual room. The bathtub wouldn’t drain so if you took a shower your feet were just submerged the whole time. The couch was dirty in the room. At 10am hotel security woke me up by banging on my door accusing me of smoking in my room, told me they had to come in and search the room. They didn’t find anything and I didn’t even get an apology. We needed to stay on the upper east side and this was the only property that fit our location needs. The staff was wonderful. The location was excellent. Dislikes were the noisy heater which didn’t seem to heat no matter what temperature we put it on. Also a very slow drain in the tub. Both these probably could have been fixed however we were in town for a funeral and didn’t want to deal with a lot of other issues.

Literally the *only* issue we had was that the room temp could not be set below 70F. The front desk told us the hotel's AC hadn't been turned on for the season yet. We prefer to sleep cold, so we opened the windows about an inch each, and the hotel gave us a box fan to draw in the outside air. Once we did that and shut off the room fan (with its 70F air), things cooled off quickly. But if it had been a warm or stuffy April week instead of nice and cool outside, we would have been miserable and likely had to find another hotel for our stay.

It was located at a convenient spot for us. The room was clean although the bedding had a distinct odor. I resented having to do the valet parking through yet another machine. And the surcharge that they wanted to impose for early checking? Over $100? What the heck? Outrageous. The staff was ok, just ok. I will avoid this hotel in the future.

Staff were most unhelpful at assisting us with transportation to the airport despite asking in advance of our need to get a taxi to the airport. Two different staff members insisted we would have no trouble hailing a taxi out the front of the hotel and that they couldn’t arrange for a taxi to collect us from the hotel. We spent 45 minutes in van trying to do so before we were advised that they have a direct phone service that we could ise ourselves to arrange a taxi. They even sent an elderly lady out the front of the hotel to hail a taxi by herself. It was only after we advised her to go back inside the hotel and get the hotel staff to help her that they provided any assistance to her. Poor performance from hotel staff with our only request from them in our 8 night stay.

We were there for 15 days. The room service was okay, however, the rooms were dusty and were not vacuumed everytime we wanted service. If you want to sleep in mornings, you will get woken by slamming doors. The location was perfect because I was there for medical appointments at Lennox Hill Hospital so it was close by and wasnt exspensive by Uber. There was a full pharmacy a few blocks away and grocery store on the corner nearby if needed. I appreciated the unlimited complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and infused water, a definite plus. The gym was great as well and the laundry facilities. The hotel definitely can benefit having a continental breakfast. I would definitely stay there again if needed. Minor fixes would have gotten them a 5 star from me otherwise.

Great area and walkable to a lot of dining and cafes. Good front desk workers and staff. Bed was a little more uncomfortable than I would've thought for property name
