De check-in is vlot verlopen, waarbij er per gast een fles water en cookie waren heel aangenaam. Het personeel was ook heel vriendelijk. De check-out verliep vlot, waarbij er zonder te vragen duidelijk werd gezegd dat de waarborg binnen 3 tot 7 werkdagen wordt terug gestort. En opnieuw was het personeel zeer vriendelijk. De kamer op zich was eerder teleurstellend voor de prijs die je ervoor betaalt. Je kan amper draaien of keren, laat staan op een comfortabele manier je valies open maken. De badkamer is zeer ouderwets en voorziet niets van ruimte om toilettassen etc. te plaatsen.

The staff were all very nice and it was a good location but the hotel is old and dumpy, the outside sitting area was gross and the lobby was gross, the room safe was broken in my room, it wasn’t worth the hassle of complaining about it so I just kept the do not disturb sign on the door. Would not recommend

The best part was their customer service I arrived early the hotel was flexible & allowed me to check in early that was top tier i appreciated that from them.

Highlights: This hotel is close to a lot of bars, restaurants, and attractions which was great! They also had very cold water in the lobby, which I enjoyed. Drawbacks: I would never stay here again. The 'warm cookie' we got at check-in was essentially a warm rock. Absolutely inedible and thrown right in the trash. The hotel was dated. The tub had cracks in it and the wall paper on the wall was peeling. The towels were threadbare and had stains on them, and it was difficult to get housekeeping to come to clean our room - despite talking directly with housekeeping and later calling the front desk. The absolute worst though was the wait for the elevators at any point in the day. There are two small (five-person) elevators for a 28 floor building, which are used by staff (and their service carts) as well as guests. Multiple times we had to wait more than 15 minutes to get on the elevator to come down to the lobby, including this morning when we checked out and I had to lug my suitcase down 8 flights. While installing a service elevator isn't a quick solve, they could absolutely do more to free up elevator space for guests. For instance, they could set up a system where staff bring up or down luggage (at off-peak times via the elevator, using the stairs, etc.) or leave service carts on each floor during the day, moving them during off-peak hours.

Two tiny elevators for 27 floors had me worried, but it turned out to be fine. Fix the elevator light buttons so you know they are working. Water from shower suddenly turned off for a few seconds in room 2606. Vent noise in hall near 2606 is annoyingly loud.

I loved the cookie I was given at check in it’s really good. I also loved the welcome Chloe on the tv screen when I walked in it was a nice touch. The only dislike was no microwave in the room and the fact that the ones they do have in the lobby do not work. Also the elevator buttons should get fixed as it doesn’t always stop on the floor you select bc it does not light up.

We stay here everytime we go to New York and as always they give us excellent service.(free cookies help 😀). The food at their restaurant isnt the best, but we're usually trying out the food around the city instead of stay inside.

This hotel got a lot of bad reviews and we were worried but overall it was really good experience and I would recommend it to everyone ! Definetly coming back when next time in New York everything is in walkable distance yet its not so noisy

Not bad. Not great. Reviews are fairly accurate. Can be noisy. Disappointed that they didn't hook me up nicer with an earlier check-in, but not holding that against them.

Only one working elevator. Small front desk area, which made it uncomfortable when everyone was trying to check in. Room wasn’t very clean. Anybody could get into the hotel so it wasn’t very safe. Size of the room was very small Compared to other New York City hotels

Staff was friendly, free breakfast buffet was decent, felt safe. Rooms were very small, there was 3 of us in a 2 bed room. We were very cramped, but I’m sure all hotel rooms are the same in NY. Would stay here again.

Found hairs in both beds that clearly were used by previous customers. Unfriendly staff. on 15th and 16th April, the Young man at the reception hung up the phone when I complained about the noise in the floor due to a large group of students staying during the weekend. Lifts are used by staff also, hence the wait for a lift can be 20 mins. Seriously poor & expensive Breakfast not value for money. Bar with a limited selection of drinks and very poor terrace at the entrance full of people smoking cannabis. The area is convenient and has few restaurants closely.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. They were able to offer early check-in when we arrived early in the day, which I very much appreciated. Rooms were comfortable and very clean.When we had an issue with opening the safe, someone came right away to help. Only two elevators, so sometimes we had to wait a few minutes, but not a big deal.
