The longe area on the first floor is beautiful and nicely done and clean. The hotel was very busy for a weekday and the two desk clerks were extremely slow. The elevator wait was horrible. The pool area was decent however the pool hours are not reasonable 7am-12am or 7:30pm-9:30pm. There were not enough towels at the pool area so i was told i could only receive a towel once i finished. I have never heard of anything like that at any place I have stayed at especially traveling with kids sometimes they want to wipe their face in between getting in/out of pool. The rooms are small as well as the bathroom and not soundproof. I could hear the people banging next door, babies crying, and anytime anyone closed their room door you can hear the slam. The hotel is not bad overall but needs some adjustments.

I stayed at this hotel after it was recommended by a friend when I was looking for a Brooklyn Hotel to go to an event. Can I say in the beginning I expected the worse but I was so impressed by everything I saw and experienced that I will stay at this hotel again given the opportunity.

I found blood on the wall next to my bed, and a brown substance (which may have been fecal matter) on several walls of the room. The furniture was extremely worn and damaged. The 12th floor hallways have dirt and other matter on the carpets, which have an unpleasant odor. The walls have markings throughout and mold at the top of the elevators. I paid over $500 for 2 nights at this hotel. The front desk manager - Ricardo - was uncaring and entirely unbothered about the issues with the room. His customer service was awful. They did move me to a different room, which was only slightly less worn and gave me a paltry refund of $50. The hot tub water was COLD, and I was told it is frequently out of service. The pool is absolutely DISGUSTING. It looks like it has not been cleaned properly in months. The water is not clear - you can’t see through to the bottom. There’s so much chlorine in the water that there is a white film on top of the water surface. My son’s eyes were red and burning for hours after leaving. The lifeguard on duty - is not a lifeguard. He never once sat by the pool, and instead walked back and forth around the hot tub and sauna area. He even left the room and went to the elevators. He sat with his back turned for most of the time. When asked simple questions about towels (of which there were none) and when the hot tub would be working, he was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

I like that the atmosphere was welcoming and the lobby area was relaxing if you was waiting for family or friends. Room was clean and spotless. Dis like how im still wwiting on my property money deposit, came out Sunday and its Friday.. But all in all great place to go .
