We loved this hotel. The location was great and it was perfect to have breakfast included. We were upgraded to a two bedroom two bath suite, and it was such a luxury. We will stay here again on our next visit to NYC. Very helpful and friendly staff.

A perfect stay in NYC. Wonderfully charming hotel in the theater district - so close to so much. Clean, quiet, and filled with character. My daughter and I were treated to a surprise upgrade to a room with a terrace and WOW!! Hotel staff could not have been nicer. Do not miss this hotel!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Scherman! The room decor had such a great vibe. Breakfast was perfect (and the space was beautiful). The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We only had a few minutes on the roof deck so we have to stay there again to enjoy it more fully!

When we arrived to the hotel and see the very small lobby I was thinking I made a big mistake to book with them and very scared how to expect the room can be. Greatest I was totally wrong.Rooms are very comfortable, good sizes, cleaning. The hotel is very close to the Broadway, they have a nice and cozy rooftop. The stuff’s are friendly and very welcome! And after all, the price was really good! I strongly recommend this hotel! 😊

Excellent hotel! Will definitely stay again when in NYC. We loved the free breakfast, our room was very clean, and all staff were so helpful and friendly. This hotel is in a great location with an easy quick walk to Times Square and Broadway.

Hotel Scherman provided a quiet and restful respite from the hectic and busy Times Square crowd. It was close enough to walk to but you can stay in the area where enough great eats were. What a terrific find, will definitely come back!!! Another plus are the easy going staff there! Before I forget, they have a rooftop area where you can just hang out, unwind after a crazy day in manhattan. Super great deal of a place!

Flexible with the checkin time if the room is available was nice, we had our room ready by noon. Very friendly host and rooftop views were really nice. Room was comfortable would stay again, great location.

This small boutique hotel is a gem…room is very clean & comfortable. We were upgraded to a King Suite & because it was our 40th anniversary… there was a bottle of champagne & a card welcoming us to the hotel. The staff is very friendly!!! Continental breakfast included which was a plus. It’s close if you are going to see a Broadway Show. Definitely would stay again.

Hotel Scherman ist für einen New York Trip vollkommend ausreichend. Es liegt zentral und perfekt um New York zu erkunden. Leider hat der TV nicht richtig funktioniert und auch nach einer bitte sich darum zu kümmern wurde es nicht wirklich nicht gefixt, war jetzt nicht so tragisch. Wir waren ja nur zum schlafen im Hotel. Frühstück war ausreichen, nix besonderes aber gut um in den Tag zu starten. Personal war super nett. Leider wurde der Boden nicht wirklich gewischt, das sollte man doch hin und wieder vom Personal getan werden. Sonst ein perfektes Hotel umd New York zu erkunden.

I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s becoming my go-to spot. I’ve gotta say, it’s a little slice of cozy heaven in a bustling location. It’s this sweet respite with such truly kind and nice staff. I have zero complaints and I doubt I will have any in the future. It’s clean as a whistle (which is incredibly important to me), quiet, each room has beautiful and unique character. All around perfection.

A hidden gem
This hotel was great! Lots of space in our room and really friendly staff. We hadn’t been to NY before and didn’t expect the entrance to be a single door in a building with other tenants, so arriving after midnight made it a little hard to find, but once inside it was fantastic!!

The location is excellent if you’re going to a Broadway show. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of offerings and was a great way to start the day. The room was clean and comfortable.

beautiful, spacious rooms. i wish my apartment had looked like this! great location if catching a show without being overwhelmed by the area. perfect if you drive or take the train in. close enough to port authority and major subway stops and easily walkable from penn station. all in all a great experience.
