On face value the staff were friendly enough. But when I called a week prior to my booking just to confirm, the man on the phone was so rude he said ‘why you calling now if your booking is next week. Bye!’ And put the phone down on me. On the first night there were people fighting in the hallway nothing was done to stop them, we were terrified in our rooms! There was an awful smell in the hallway and the 2 rooms we booked. The place reeked of stale smoke and the blankets had ash holes in them- all of them! Both rooms were filthy! This is NOT an over exaggeration!

Our ultimate goal is for our guests to be comfortable both in the summertime, and in the winter. Our maintenance staff has a regular schedule dedicated to checking the working order of appliances, the state of the furniture in the rooms, and bathroom fixtures. I am sorry that we failed to do this during your most recent stay. I am especially upset to hear that the situation was not addressed right away.

I read some reviews that had me a little scared before I got there. I’ll be honest, place needs some upgrades but it’s not as bad as what I read. My only complaints would be they can use some new towels, some of them were stained. And when we asked for extra, they were stingy. You get what you pay for honestly. Spend a little extra if you’re looking for 4 star. This place is more like 1.5/2 star.

Awful. My room was located two flights down in a creepy dungeon/basement type area. Doors/walls very thin can hear everything. People hanging in stair wells late night. Back exit right next to my room did not feel comfortable at all. I was told by local this a prostitution hotel. I did not stay longer than an hour.

Terrible stay
No one greeted us and one guy thought we were lying about our two day stay that he kept asking for our room card to verify and his attitude wasn't pleasant. The room wasn't clean, the bed had blood stains on it, they didn't give free breakfast, no microwave was in the room or eating facility, the furniture in the room looked runned down and the pillows weren't comfortable nor was the bed. We will never come back again to this hotel.

My stay was terrible. The sheets were soiled and the room was filthy and the worst part of all is the dirty bathroom with pubic hairs all around the tub and soap scum and black molds on the walls. Please pull the sheets open all the way as they are not changing the sheets!!! If you pull the sheets off and inspect the bed you will see dirt on the sheets from whomever that occupied the room before you did. I complained to the staff and I just had to leave with my 4 year old son. I was not refunded any money even for the two remaining days that I had as I booked a stay with this hotel for three days. Really sad to see how this hotel is under serving this predominantly black community. Two thumbs down! Shame shame shame on this hotel.

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which results in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. I already saw all the 1 star reviews so I wasn’t surprised when I got there and got what I expected. But lemme share my experience at this dump they called a hotel. At place that does the bare minimum at cleaning their hotels, there was a large crack in my bathroom mirror, the tv worked but the guide button didn’t so I had to flip through channels the whole time to see what was on tv. There was a mini fridge that didn’t work. Had to change my key after the first day because it didn’t work anymore, the guy at the front desk already knew what we were about to ask and immediately fixed the key. And there is maybe 10 spots of free parking behind the building so the last night all spot were full so we had to park a few blocks down in a neighborhood on the side. We ended up getting a ticket the next morning. The only thing that was a positive about this place is I didn’t see any roaches or bed bugs like everyone else was talking about. But I guess you get what you pay for.

When me and my friend arrived, the front desk receptionist was rude and had an attitude right from the jump. The shower heads for each of our rooms didn’t work, nor did the toilets work. Rooms were clean enough, had to check every corner because I’ve heard that there be cockroaches and other nasty stuff from other friends. We were better off spending a little more money at somewhere with more respect to the visitors.

Ok… for a economical price
It was so so. Planning to book for this Friday but rather go else where. The fact that I had to go tell the receptionist the heater wasn’t east to turn on was ughh. You get what you pay for...
You get what you pay for... someone pee'd in my bathroom and forgot to flush the toilet. The only reason I stayed was because the hotel was nonrefundable. Never again!
