Manhattan Centre Hotel in New York
Dit hotel is prima voor wie graag centraal in NY wil zitten zonder direct de hoofdprijs te betalen. Het hotel voldoet meer dan prima voor wie niet de hele dag binnen in het hotel wil blijven. De kamer was prima en ruim genoeg, twee koffers konden prima uitgestald worden zonder dat we ons niet meer konden bewegen. De kamers zijn prima, schoon, maar verder gewoon basic, meer heb je niet nodig. Het hotel heeft wifi, een gym en gratis water voorzieningen. Ontbijt hebben we hier niet genuttigd, er zijn genoeg andere mogelijkheden in NY. Er is 24 uur van de dag iemand aanwezig. Broadway ligt om de hoek, net als Central Park. Wij zouden zo terug gaan naar dit hotel.

Dit hotel kunnen wij iedereen aanraden,wat een geweldige locatie.Midden in de stad maar toch redelijk rustig,zodat je goed kon slapen en weinig last van het drukke verkeer had.Wij hadden een kamer en suite, heerlijk ruim en de mogelijkheid om koffie te zetten en een maaltijd op te warmen. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben met ons gezin een heerlijke tijd gehad.

Manhattan Centre Hotel VOORHEEN Rockefeller centre
Prima hotel, goede kamers, perfecte locatie. Wel verwarrend dat de naam van het hotel veranderd is. Bij het inchecken op het vliegveld was bijv de nieuwe naam nog niet bekend, en ook de taxi chauffeur in NY zelf had nog nooit van het Manhattan Centre hotel gehoord. Dus onthou vooral ook de oude naam!

Super locatie! Kamer was wat aan kleine kant en geluid van afzuigers/ airco's buiten was minder, maar wel gratis internet en nette badkamer/ kamer.

Traveling with wife and 2 kids (9 and 12) I would describe this hotel as very cosey and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. If you are looking for a place to lay down your head then this is defenitely the one. Forget about sizes etc. Rooms are cleaned every day. Prices are great considering the location which of course is perfect.

Schysst läge men inget extraordinärt.
Jag spenderade inte så mycket tid på hotellet men det man kan förvänta sig av ett hotell fanns. Rummet var rent och snyggt om än lite litet. Servicen var god och personlig men somsagt så bjöd hotellet inte på några överraskningar. Läget var ju dock perfekt. Kollade in gymmet och det var hantlar upp till 20kg, ett par kardio maskiner och en boll. Dvs ungefär vad man kan förvänta sig på ett hotell.

Great location!
Location and price! This hotel is directly across from Radio City Music Hall, walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Central Park. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but very well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. We enjoyed our stay!

Safe haven away from home!
We had a very hectic schedule and were out most of the day and sometimes half of the night but it was always nice and comforting to return to our room. It gave us a feeling of home away from home, a safe feeling. One friend who came to see us on our last day commented that I did "good" in picking out a place to stay.

Difficult to Find But So Worth the Trouble
There was no sign or indication that there was a hotel at 25 W. 51st Street in New York, just a private club. Our taxi driver circled the block twice. He then went inside of 25 W. and the concierge assured him that it was, in fact, the Manhattan Centre Hotel. Once checked in and settled, the rooms were very clean, accomodating and comfortable. We had three children under the age of 10 so the kitchenette and coffee maker were a blessing. The view from the 7th floor cafe was excellent. We could walk everywhere and saw everything - Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Bill's Bar & Burger, Deli's and Bakeries, the windows on 5th Avenue and The Today Show filming.

New York Rockefeller Experience
Pros: Great location from Rockefeller Center, Shops, Ice Skating, etc. Staff was very accommodating with car pick up to airport. Cons: Bathroom fan didn't work and I believe that is an important item when in a hotel room. Also false fire alarm went off at 3 am. Lastly, the water bottle system on floor 9 didn't work either. Everything taken into consideration, I would recommend this to a friend.

Large 1 BR Suite - Great location
We had a 1 BR suite (not with a separate bedroom, but a long room, divided into sleeping, working and eating areas) with a small kitchenette (fridge and microwave, a few dishes, small sink). The room was huge by NYC standards for the price! The location is excellent - walk to theater, shopping, Central Park, Rockefeller Center. Not fancy, but clean. Great, firm mattress. All in all, an incredible value for a large room in the city!

The staff was friendly & efficient. We were early, so they stored our luggage while we went shopping. Upon our return, it was a matter of minutes to receive our keys & our luggage arrived soon after we got to our room. The location was fantastic! We had tickets to see Wicked & Gershwin Theatre was just a few blocks away, along with plenty of shopping, Times Square, & several restaurants to choose from. The room was clean. We didn't have any issues with waiting too long for an elevator. Unfortunately, the bed was rock hard & extremely uncomfortable. We barely slept. New mattresses & I'd definitely stay here again, but until then, I will look elsewhere. There are so many choices...

the location of this hotel is perfect. loads of restaurants and shopping close by. the staff is well organized and quick to assist with any issues. our room was neat and clean. perfect location if your trip includes a show at radio city.

Fantastic location
You could not find a better location...directly across from Rockefeller Plaza and within a block of 5th Avenue. What I did not like about the hotel was the smallness of the reception area. It did not efficiently accommodate all of the travelers registering and leaving the hotel. Also, our room was on the second floor and next to the employee lounge; so not only did we hear the street noises, we heard the employees coming in early in the morning talking and laughing loudly. I do not begrudge the employees their right to spend their off-duty time as they wish, it's just not conducive to a quiet stay when you are in the room immediately next to the lounge. I will definitely stay at this hotel again, but will request a room on an upper floor and on a side away from 51st Avenue.

Läget är svårslaget, ligger bland de bästa hotellen i New York. Men helhetsupplevelsen av rummens komfort, kvalitet på badrumet, sängen, etc. är inte särskilt hög. Kommer inte boka igen.

Best Location!
Hotel is close to many attractions.Could not ask for better proximity to Times Square,Broad Way Central Park and more. All forms of transportation readily available. Fun to see the changes each day at Radio City. Will stay here again!

Room was rather small for the three of us; towels and amenities were a minimum amount. Very friendly and helpful front desk and concierge service. Room was very clean. Very efficient with our bags and any questions we had. We felt welcome and well taken care of.

Great place to stay near Rockefeller Center
The hotel was perfectly located for us right across from Radio City Music Hall, and although the lobby was tiny, the room was quite adequate for a mid town hotel. And the shower was the terrific! The staff was helpful, bringing us extra towels when ours were missing upon arrival. Too bad the balcony dining was closed due to a wedding....

the hotel is quite nice, clean and the staff was very efficient and helpful. The room is a decent size for NYC. The only issue was the temperature control.. It was a tad chilly and I had a hard time adjusting it. To be fair, it was always so late that I did not call for help so it's possibly quite workable.

Vi hade ett rum långt ner i huset, 4:e våningen, med "ingen" utsikt och med bullriga ombyggnationer på gatan. Eftersom vi var tre personer fanns inga tillräckligt stora rum att byta till högre upp i huset. Så efter en natt bytte vi till systerhotellet The Jewel några hus längre ner på gatan och nappade på ett erbjudande om att uppgradera till en svit. The Jewel kan varmt rekommenderas. Fina, fräscha rum med liten köksavdelning. Fritt WiFi och trevligt gemensamt vardagsrum för alla boende. Personalen på båda hotellen var mycket vänlig, tillmötesgående och hjälpsam.

Walking distance to must-see sights and trains
The rooms are indeed small but well appointed, comfy bed and a desk, with free Wi-fi. Breakfast at restaurant is pretty awful, don't do it. Went to show at Radio City, across the street, walked to event in Times Square, most trains a half a block away. While NYC has the best water in the world, I liked the free re-fillable water bottles provided (7th floor) with cold water, great for walking around time! Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Elevators slow and dreadful, fortunately I was on the 2nd floor and frequently just used the stairs.

The superior room that we stayed in was tastefully decorated, bright, and clean. The quality of service from the staff was excellent. Location was great. However on the other hand we were not impressed with the cramped lobby. It was woefully inadequate in size as more than two families (party of 4 or more) with luggages will fill the entire lobby. A simple amenity that we all take for granted is an in room safe which was not offered by this hotel. To store anything of value, a safety deposit box (not large enough to fit a laptop) is available in a locked room in the lobby area. Access is inconvenient. It is understandable for safety reasons that one of the two front desk personnel be the other key holder.

Great location
This is a good hotel located in a great location within walking distance of times square. The hotel staff were helpful. However, the remote for the tv in the room wasn't working and we called for a new remote as our one didn't seem to be working but we never got one meaning that the tv was of no use. Apart from this, I would still recommend this hotel for a stay in new York,

就在Rockfeller Center对面，离地铁很近，旁边就是5th Ave，逛街购物都很方便，价格也可以接受，服务很好，以这个地段来说房间相当宽敞了

Very convenient location
Overall, hotel was very well maintained and hotel employees were very helpful and cooperative. My only regret was that I did not ask for a room change because we were on the third floor and the window faced a closed in area, so we had to look way up to determine the weather and had very little natural light. Otherwise, I was quite satisfied with the cleanliness, quality of service, and location. This was our second stay at a Club Quarters hotel.

Perfect understated hotel in a great location.
Our stay at the hotel was great. The only complaint would be that in room 611 you can hear the water running down the pipes all night, especially being right under the restaurant. Made it kind of hard to sleep.
