HOUSE RULES & POLICIES By booking, you agree to all of the following rules and agreements. You must be 21 years or older to book this home and a government issued ID will be required to confirm the reservation.
- This is a multi-level historic brownstone requiring approximately 6 steps to enter the property, and 25–30 steps to reach the main level, followed by a second staircase to the upper level. Guests must be physically comfortable navigating stairs and carrying luggage. No refunds will be issued due to stair access concerns.
- Smoking, vaping, marijuana, or drug use inside the home or on the front steps is strictly prohibited. Violation will result in a minimum fine of $1,000 plus remediation costs.
- Parties are NOT allowed at this property, including loud music and gatherings during quiet hours. Quiet hours are legally enforced between 9PM - 8AM. If it is determined that guests are having a party/large gathering OR surrounding neighbors report a complaint and/or call police for disturbance, guest(s) will be asked to leave immediately without refund with a minimum fine of $1,000 fine.
- There is no daily housekeeping. For long-term stays (over 28 days), a deep cleaning can be requested for $200 per cleaning. This process takes 4-5 hours, similar to checkout.
- You will be charged twice the current replacement cost for any missing or damaged items, including, but not limited to stained towels/sheets, as well as $200 USD for each lost, missing, or damaged remote.
- Overnight guests that exceed the number stated in the reservation are NOT allowed. Children are considered guests who must be stated in the reservation. Please be aware that only the registered number of guests (up to 10 maximum) are allowed on the property at any time. This is strictly enforced for insurance reasons. If this policy is violated, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund and face a minimum penalty of $200 penalty per person, per night
- Pets are NOT allowed. Violation of this rule will result in a $500 penalty per pet, per night. Double cleaning fee will also be applied.
- We do NOT allow packages/mail to be sent to the address you're staying at. You may deliver items to a local FedEx/UPS. We are not responsible for any lost mail or packages.
- Guests shall keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Household inventory and appliances shall be used conventionally and respectfully. Guests shall maintain a respectable level of cleanliness and tidiness in the home.
- Unapproved late check-out will incur a fee of $100/hr. Checkout is at 10 AM.
- The Host is not responsible for parking tickets or any law violations.
- Host is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness, or deaths that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The host is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
- No loose trash - all trash must be bagged in the proper receptacles
- Please do not rearrange the furniture.
