'Perfect central location to Banner Elk, Boone, and Linville. If you are looking for privacy and seclusion this is the place. Cabin layout is great for a family or up to 3 couples. Comfortable beds. The road is well maintained and easy to get to the cabin. Plenty of parking. Few things to note. There is no internet (even though VRBO listing says so) However we had great cell service with 3 bars (verizon). Satellite TV provided with limited channels. The keyless lock is tricky. 'Took a quick weekend getaway with my pup, the home is very comfortable and cozy and rustic which is just up my alley! Really enjoyed the solitude but felt quite safe if there were any surprises. Very nice hiking trails within 20-30 min drive, but there’s also a lot of nature and exploration opportunities on the property so it’s really unnecessary to leave at all if you have your food. Highly recommend!'
