This house was perfect for family time. We loved the view, porch, quick walk to attractions and great dining, ping pong and plenty of places to sleep. If you love to cook this house is for you. There are actually sharp knives, plenty of mixing and baking dishes, and high-end pots and pans. We were there to celebrate a birthday and one of the gifts was a cookbook so we made the most of the kitchen.
We loved that this rental had paper towels, extra toilet paper, sponges, laundry detergent, a bit of oil and salt and pepper in the cabinets.
It feels good to be in the home. The home is obviously loved by the owner and the picture of their fishing boat and the free published book by the "Fisherman's Wife" was touching. This good feeling extended to the handyman who arrived in 15 minutes to re-sent the surge breaker in the sauna and the gardener who made sure we knew what a wonderful family owned the home.
Being a family home the room set up is a little weird for couple privacy. So one of the rooms is more like a hallway with a bathroom that the largest and quietest room has to walk through to get to their room. The downstairs bedroom is a pull out bed, but comfortable.
This is a great place to spend a week. For those of us working remotely the deck and the widow's porch on the second floor were great places to get away for a few hours.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful home.
