Talarwen is situated a 2 minutes' walk from the centre of Newport's shops, pubs and restaurants and 5 minutes from the Parrog.

The property itself is set over two levels with most rooms overlooking the sea. It has a large kitchen and attached dining area with French doors leading out onto the furnished patio. There is a large lounge area as well as a separate games room (TV, table football, board games etc) with its own veranda. There is also a table tennis room and bike storage located in the outside stable block. The four bedrooms and three bathrooms have been set up to offer space and comfort.

In addition to the lawned gardens that surround the property, there is a 3-acre field with a stream (care should be taken with children).
