'Accommodation and location is really lovely. Sadly communication prior to arrival and a very cold first afternoon/evening made us feel rather unwelcome. We read in the welcome pack about drinking our “welcome Prosecco” but sadly weren’t provided with any (we weren’t expecting any so not an issue) but the milk sachets we were provided were out of date - by 9 months! Having walked into a freezing cold cottage we quickly read the instructions for heating but some hours later it was no warmer so...

'Aan een heel smal weggetje ligt dit prachtige huisje. Comfortabel ingericht; echt alles is aanwezig, van speelgoed voor kinderen tot en met allerlei huishoudelijke apparaten. Mooie omgeving, veel kastelen (vaak ruïnes) en kleine baaien in de buurt.'

'We absolutely love the location, it is extremely peaceful, the scenery is stunning and so perfect location for visiting Whitesands, St. David’s, Newgale and Solva. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and well equipped with a private garden and patio area. Turn left out of the entrance door and you’re along the costal path. We have been staying with Mrs Murphy for the last 24 years, we leave after a week’s stay feeling refreshed and energised and will be booking for next year.'

'A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.'

'6 adults and 4 children for a surprise 50th family weekend. Beautiful surroundings. Easy to reach destinations. Perfect size for all of us and layout, however could do with a little TLC, cleanliness was not great. Did not let it ruin our stay as it was perfect otherwise.'

'The barn is just lovely and the grounds are wonderful. The barn has all the facilities you need including a well supplied kitchen. The kids loved the play area. Jemma and Paul are very friendly but allow you privacy. A perfect stay, we will be back.'

'Well located in Pembrokeshire for visiting local attractions. The Shepherds Hut has all the facilities needed for a short stay and is best suited for couples. The neighbouring Huntsman pub does excellent beer and basic bar meals. The only thing missing is an electric kettle as boiling water can take a while.'

'We had a very relaxing stay in this little corner of serenity. The Shepherd's hut was beautifully created and felt very private with its own outdoor area, hammock and firepit. Our hosts were perfect, nothing was a problem and our pooch really enjoyed it too. Would definitely recommend.'

'Very comfortable property in a secluded location which was central to exploring all of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which was breathtaking. It was advertised as sleeping 8 but would only be comfortable for 6 max as living space is small. Garden is not child friendly or completely enclosed for dogs although no problem for ours who are well trained. WiFi is non-existent which has its plus sides but no landline in case of emergencies.'
