First 3 generation get-a-way
Very family oriented 3 story chalet. We stayed 3 nights and the owner was always available for questions we had. We had 13 in our party 6 adults, 7 children ages 8 mos to 10 yrs old. We will plan another family vacation to stay here again!

Comfortable place in beautiful locale
Plenty of room for our large family to gather, relax, hike, fish, bike, and swim. Much appreciated having a very well-equipped kitchen, a new grill, nice deck, and a washer and dryer. Communication with Andre was excellent. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful!
Wonderful property! Everything was neat and clean, plenty of towels, supplies, kitchen ware. New AC's worked great. Road up to house was a little exciting with only a front wheel drive minivan after all the rain, but we got there. Owner was very responsive and helpful to our requests. Kids were sad on our last day and wanted to stay longer. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Ladies Weekend!

Wonderful mountain home!
This home was perfect for our friends’ vacation getaway. We were a group of 4 couples, and we had such a fun, restful time. We relaxed in the hot tub, made s’mores over the fire pit, and enjoyed the nearby attractions, like tubing down the river, and swimming at the Step Falls trail. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances and prep tools we needed, and all the rooms were clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive when we had questions, and check-in/out were very easy. Would absolutely stay again!

Destination Newry for family summer vacation
We found the gems of Newry and made some fun family memories at the private Sunday River home. Nine of us traveled from FL, KY, and OH to be together with a quick stop in Boston just before. Great host and house, communicative and accommodating. Everything was just as described. We stay at similar places around the country each year and look for special things to accommodate the needs of our family. This place had wonderful toys and games for the kids and a stocked kitchen and beautiful new grill for preparing family meals. Only thing that could be improved would be the well worn main living room furniture. A bit uncomfortable, but we managed. Beds were all comfy. Thanks Newry and Andre! You are both fabulous in memories.

Home away from home
We didn't plan on staying inside so much during our ski weekend, but the deep freeze with -20 below temps changed our plans. Regardless, there was plenty of firewood that kept the fireplace going and the house was warm and cozy, like we were home. Andre is a great host and was always available and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a good weekend at this home and we enjoyed being close to Sunday River. The young kids appreciated the basement area with the pac man game and the adults loved the hot tub after skiing.

Amazing Home!
My husband and our adult children could not have been more pleased with our stay at Andre's home. It was so beautiful, clean and extremely close to Sunday River ski resort, not to mention the numerous breweries/restaurants in the area. The views surrounding the home/area were incredible. The house was very big for a large family, and at the same time, it felt very warm and welcoming. Andre is a very pleasant and responsive host. I am already looking forward to planning another visit. Andre - thank you again for opening up your home to us.

Awesome long weekend
We all enjoyed our stay at this fantastic home. We had a total of 10 family members that came together to celebrate Thanksgiving. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. The host Andre was very easy to work with and was very responsive with any questions we had. If you are looking for a great home layout for multiple families and very close to skiing then this is the house for you. Thank you.

Fantastic place for large groups
Excellent place to stay. There were 13 of us. The property was clean, spacious and in a great location if you just want to get away. Breweries nearby and hiking trails were greatly enjoyed. I can imagine in the winter, this would a great place to stay if you’re a skier. The owner was very communicative. One of the better value places I’ve stayed in

Fun for the Family
Such a fun place for our family to spend some quality time together! Plenty of space, nicely stocked kitchen, games to play, hot tub and more. We were able to enjoy the local rivers, do some hiking, golfing and even made a trip to Storyland (only one hour away). Great spot!!

Beautiful house. Great location!
We recently rented this lovely home in Newry. A family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The house is exactly as described. 3 floors of living space. The master bedroom is in loft area. It was great set-up. There are 2 bedrooms on main floor, and 2 more on lower level. The lower level is perfect for another family...or for the kids/teens. There is a second kitchen on lower level, another living room. The main kitchen is so open and roomy. Well stocked and equipped with pots, pans, cups, plates, etc all in nice condition. Yes, I've rented places where the kitchen wares were so worn and old. Not here! The hottub is so crystal clean and perfect for relaxing. The teens enjoyed smores at the firepit. The home is close to several swimming holes, hiking trails, Sunday River. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful Last Minute Getaway!
The property was beautiful and the host was courteous and easily contacted. We had no issues while staying at the property and would love to rent here again. The house was clean, had great amenities and was stocked well. The house is 7 minutes to the mountain base, which is super convenient because we skiied 3 days!

Girl's weekend - Dog Freindly
This place was VERY Dog Friendly and in a great location. Cute and spacious living space, Bunk rooms are tight but other bed rooms are great size and bathrooms are also nice size. Great directions and the Host was Very quick to answer any questions I had about the trip. Beds were very comfortable, Lots of parking. We had a great Girls weekend hiking, relaxing and brewery hopping.

Bethel getaway
The house was beautiful and big enough for 8 adults and a 21/2 yr old! The kitchen was fabulous and the outdoor setting with a fire pit and hot tub was great. Many family gatherings around the fire pit!! The location (if you like the mountains) was perfect with many hiking trails and "swimming holes" close by. The small towns nearby were interesting. The homeowners were easy to contact online and responded quickly to any questions I had

The chalet was clean and had more than enough supply in the house. There were a few issues during the stay, but the host was awesome in responding right away and was highly accommodating. We really appreciate the need to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Wonderful Staycation
We had a wonderful staycation! As Mainers, we were looking for an escape from the coast and wanted to spend a few days hiking in the mountains with our families. This house was the perfect “home base” for us - close to Bethel (checked out the new Maine Gem Museum - incredible), Newry hikes and Grafton Notch. The hot tub was a welcome treat after our hikes and walks. House was great and had plenty of space for our two families. Thanks so much for hosting - we had a wonderful time!
