'One of the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. This is an older hotel. It seems like it was renovated in the last 5-7 years. Spartan decoration. Extremely spacious. Very decent bed. Great view to the water from our room even though it wasn't one of the directly beach-facing ones. The stairs (only way up and down) are a bit odd. 'Room listings state they have curtains and they did not, rooms were very bright overnight. Pool needs rules better enforced. Two kids went underwater at no fault of anyone but neglectful parents that should have been physically in the pool with their young toddlers. Other families had to help rescue kids at no fault of the lifeguard but the rules definitely need to be enforced much better. '

Booked a month or so ago. Arrived to discover they were renovating parts of the hotel, and that my room was directly over top of where workmen were cutting large slabs of marble with saws. When I inquired about the noise, the staff only said "Oh, we're renovating."

'The lobby staff was great! The room was dirty, hasn't been dusted in forever and the floor was dirty. They give you dish soap but no dish rag. No utensils. The beach view was great. Something new is they charge for parking.'
