Appartement met 2 slaapkamers stappen van Place Garibaldi, aan de rand van de oude binnenstad.

Een perfect gelegen, volledig gerenoveerd appartement met volledige airconditioning. Het is op de 2e verdieping zonder lift, maar de trap is breed en ondiep omdat er halve landingen zijn, waardoor het erg gemakkelijk is om te onderhandelen. Het appartement heeft twee, even grote slaapkamers, een bed voor een 5e persoon kan worden voorzien van een luchtbed. Het appartement beschikt over gratis WiFi, een 42-inch HD-tv, een Blue Ray-speler met een grote selectie aan films en cd's. Volledig ingerichte Amerikaanse keuken met kookplaat, magnetron, vaatwasser, wasmachine, koelkast en klein vriesvak. Eiken eettafel en stoelen voor 6 personen. Engels eigendom en het is ons tweede thuis. Voldoende opslagruimte voor kleding en koffers. In de badkamer bevinden zich wastafels voor hem en haar, een douchecabine, wc en hoekbad (ongebruikelijk voor Franse appartementen). Er is ook een aparte wc, handig voor 2, maar essentieel voor 4 of meer personen. De slaapkamers bevinden zich aan de achterzijde van het appartement met uitzicht op een binnenplaats die erg rustig is, dus een ongestoorde nachtrust met de ramen 's nachts is mogelijk. Vanuit een van de lounge ramen ziet u de ingang van de onlangs geopende Coulee Verte. Place Garibaldi is de centrale hub voor cafés, vervoer, zowel bussen en tram naar luchthaven, station, Monaco en vele andere plaatsen onderweg. De locatie heeft het voordeel dicht bij de oude stad te zijn zonder het late nachtgeluid van feestende feestvierders. Als je van verse zeevruchten houdt, dan is het wereldberoemde Cafe de Turin in het volgende gebouw, boek vroeg om teleurstelling te voorkomen. De dubbele beglazing is echt efficiënt in het blokkeren van enig geluid van buiten, zodat u in alle rust en stilte van het appartement kunt genieten.

We enjoyed our stay. A couple of issues with the TV and DVD player but the host made good by obtaining a subscription to Netflix which we enjoyed. He also threw in a free mid-stay apartment cleaning. Overall, no complaints and we would definitely consider staying there again if we return to Nice.

Property is ideally situated at edge of Old Nice and directly across the street from the Monoprix. Ideal location for exploring the charm of Old Nice and the Port of Nice. Walking distance to the Cours Selaya market and many excellent restaurants and cafes.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for me and my friend on our girls trip!! It is centrally located off the tram so not difficult to get to. No elevator which is annoying, but upon arrival the property manager helped me with my bags, which was so very kind! We loved the AC and washer that were available in the unit. This space is perfect for so many reasons!! You won’t be disappointed!

Just back from a lovely break at this apartment. The location is perfect. Its 5 mins from Garibaldi le Chateau metro stop, which goes directly to and from the airport so there was no hassle or costs in arranging taxis. There is a supermarket across the road that has any of the essentials you need and there are restaurants and cafés galore on the doorstep. Its a 10/15 minute walk into the centre but there is plenty of public transport that will take you there. The area is very lively at night but the apartment itself is very quiet. The apartment is absolutely great. It's homely and clean with everything you need. Its also well kitted out with lovely towels and crockery. Even the wine glasses are quality. The owner, Brin, couldnt have been more helpful and responds very quickly to any questions. He also provided directions and information about the local area before we went. Their agent Roxana was at the apartment for our arrival and showed us round. Only consideration is that its on the 2nd floor with no lift so its a bit of a challenge with cases. Otherwise it's pretty much perfect for a stay in Nice and lovely to go back home to after a day out.

Great location. Did I mention great location! Very close to tram to take you everywhere around the city and to trains to neighboring towns. Great neighborhood, everything you need is close by. Host was very accommodating and responsive. Amenities are exactly as described. Would definitely recommend as a great home base to the Côte d’Azur…..oh and the beds were very comfortable.

Everything about this apartment was perfect, beginning with the 100% accurate picture and description portrayal in the listing. Super comfortable, spacious 2BR. Really good having the extra half-bath. Huge full bathroom with shower and tub. Awesome air-conditioning. Location could not be better - right off Place Garibaldi, on the step of the Old Town entrance, across from the start of the Papillon Promenade, a big Monoprix grocery directly across the street, virtually immediate access to both Lines 1 and 2 of the tram. Very helpful and communicative host and local cleaning crew. Do not hesitate!

We've just stayed here with our kids and it was okay. It was very clean though but needs new bits, as above. No lift, so climbing stairs on hot days and with luggage challenging. Supermarket just across the street,which was great and Garibaldi tram just around the corner with port near by too. Can't fault the location, just attention needed to the apartment itself to refresh. I stayed with my adult daughter and adult granddaughter. The apartment is conveniently located to Old Town, restaurants and a market across the street. There were several bakeries about a block away for pastries. There were also several restaurants very close. The beach is within walking distance and transportation very close. The air conditioning was excellent and needed as it was hot during our stay. Check in process was easy. The 1/2 bath was nice since there were 3 of use. The apartment was very clean with the exception of 1 toilet bowl but I cleaned it and didn't say anything to the owner. The owner was very responsive to my messages. There are about 3 flights of stairs and no lift. The person who let us into the apartment helped with my luggage. The stairs were really not a concern except the first day with the luggage. I would stay there again.

This was a second visit to the apartment in Nice and once again it was a great experience. Brin was available to answer any queries and confirm details before arrival and we had both his contact details and the local contact should we have needed them. The apartment was again clean with all we needed for basic meals (there is a microwave/combi oven but we didn’t use this) and a hob. The wifi and TV all worked perfectly when needed. The location cannot be faulted – it is so easy to get the tram from the airport, with the apartment less than a 5 minute walk from the tram station. On the other tram line, the stop is just as close and gets you to the station in 20 minutes max. Be aware that the ticket inspectors are very active on the trams and even if you have a weekly pass (highly recommend the Pass Sud Azur Explore) you need to tap in before you join or on the tram. The port is a short walk away, and within 2 minutes you can be in the centre of the Old Town. Recommend the Boulangerie Blanc which is less than 5 minute walk down Rue Cassini. Sentimi was also a great find for good Italian food on Place Garibaldi. We would definitely stay again!

A great, comfortable apartment in a wonderful location. On edge of old town and close to many bars and restaurants. Monoprix supermarket just across the road. Transport on doorstep but very easy to walk just about everywhere! Garibaldi Chateau train station just around corner which has direct route to the airport. We only stayed three nights but wish we had stayed longer - Nice is such an exciting place.

The apartment is wonderful. So large, so clean, such a great neighborhood. We walked to the beach every day and to the old town every day So much to do in Nice! The owner was responsive for everything we needed. Overall a 5 plus star experience.
