Dear Mr Philipmany thanks for your excellent review !We simply did our job as we do every single day.We appreciate that you enjoyed your stay !LIFT :yes we do not have a lift and this is what we keep on repeating in our confirmation emails in order to avoid problems at arrival !!! though we always help with the luggage and we asked expedia to note it clearly !!!As far as toiletries are concerned (and this is for all future clients)in each bathroom you have organic soap and organic shampoo/shower soap in their own dispensers.For eclogical reasons since the very beginning our hotel does not provide plastic container which are the main cause of pollution in the earth and cause unnecessary soap consumption.Lotions in general will be soon unavailable in general if we want to protect the earth and respect our engagements of being ecological hotels.our warmest regardsFabio

many thanks for your nice words about our service.concerning the view, it is true that the main bow window has no particular view, but it allows the room to be very calm and quiet !you did not mention that from the large windows in your bathroom you have a spectacular view on the church, the street with all its victorian buildings, but may be you did not have the time to look at this view.In any case, though we do not have spectacular views from the main windows of the junior suites, they are very calm and quite, even if you are in the middle of the very city centre and at 4 minutes from the beaches !Which is particularly appreciated during the period of the peak season.All the bestFabio
