Prima hotel, klantvriendelijke receptie. Balkon en uitzicht geweldig. Mis een beetje de koffie en thee faciliteit. Een blikje nootjesvan 70 gram afrekenen voor €8 went nooit

Ontspannen, zeer goed hotel. Rustig en comfortabel. Ligt op de mooiste plek van Nice. Geweldige uitzichten, lekker eten. Huiselijk. Intiem. Goede service. Ook met kinderen leuk.

Lovely staff, perfect Nice location between beach and marina, excellent restaurant, good pool, PERFECT views. Only issue is a slightly convoluted internal layout which means having to take more than one lift / staircase to get to most rooms (and three to get to some - though the benefit is you are higher and get a better view).

I thought this was a bargain for what you get. Splurged for a room with a balcony - well worth it. Spacious. Hotel staff is incredibly helpful. Very close to old town Nice. Odd layout with two small elevator rides to get to the rooms - other than that it is fantastic, but once you get to your room it is wonderful.

La Pérouse is a beautiful place to stay. The staff are professional & warm & want to meet your needs . Wonderful position overlooking the Baie des Anges & close to the harbour, the old town & the tram too. Easy to walk to many places & easy to get to the centre of Nice & contemporary shops etc A treat to stay at this time of year when the climate allows more walking .

A NICE place
Dynamite. Came on our honeymoon and stopped in Nice for 4 days. Hotel is a top hotel I’ve ever been to and we get around. Staff go above and beyond. Location is impeccable. Rooms are so nice and cool. Staff honestly were great. Wish I grabbed 2 of their names to shoutout.

TL/DR: This place will absolutely downgrade you from what you’ve paid for and make you feel nuts if you call them on it! Had a reservation for four nights in a Deluxe Full Sea View Room and arrived at 9pm due to a wildfire that held our train up in Cannes for almost 4 hours (also closing the highways, so no way to get there!). We made it, tired and hungry, through the protracted check-in process and were finally shown to our room...only to discover it was not the room we'd booked. To be clear, it was a lovely room with a small terrace; a "Superior Room with a Sea View" to be exact, which I knew immediately because I had spent more time than I should have debating whether it was worth the extra money for the Deluxe (we're only two people, we'll hardly be in the room, etc.). In the end I decided to spring for it and really wish I didn’t because then I might have enjoyed our stay. We went back and forth with the front desk telling us we just didn’t understand as this room *was* a Deluxe (it wasn’t) but finally gave up. The next day they finally admitted it and moved us to a room with an ancient AC that cooled the room no further than 76 F, with a view of a bush and a couple of lounge chairs surrounded by overgrown hedges…we were never compensated or refunded for the inferior rooms and it kind of ruined the experience. I recommend staying somewhere else where you won’t have to deal with dishonest business practices and fight for what you paid for while on vacation.

La Pérouse markets itself as a luxury hotel but doesn't live up to the pictures or the hype. The first thing we noticed upon check-in was that our room looked nothing like the one we booked on Expedia -- an issue we had to rectify by complaining to the manager, which was less than fun. Unfortunately, the new room had its share of issues as well: the bathroom sink didn't drain as it was oddly clogged with food from previous guest. The toilet seat routinely fell off the toilet. The water temperature in the shower would randomly go from hot to cold. Our balcony -- while beautiful, seemed to have an infestation of bees. Both occasions that we used the shared rooftop lounge space, which is absolutely magical, we were inexplicably locked out and had to call the front desk to get let back inside. The concierge that checked-us in was rude to the point where we felt were uncomfortable speaking with him. We also learned that it's impractical to use ride-share applications to/from this hotel because none of the apps allow pickup/dropoff in the hotel's neighborhood, Vieux Nice, meaning you need to walk 10-15 minutes. To be fair, the hotel does have some nice aspects: the breakfast is fantastic. The views of the ocean and the city are absolutely spectacular. The location adjacent to Vieux Nice and the castle is pretty cool too, despite the ride-share issue. And the staff is generally awesome, particularly the breakfast wait-staff. Overall decent place but not worth the price.

We sincerely regret that some of the concerns raised were not communicated earlier, as this would have allowed us to swiftly address them. Our only goal and is to always provide the best possible experience to all our guests. Regarding the rooftop access, we acknowledge your point. There are indeed three different entrances: one through the staircase, one through the elevator, and another through a secondary staircase. Only the last one has a door that opens from the inside only, as it’s not the main access. We appreciate your observation and will take steps to prevent such issues in the future by enhancing our signage. But we are really sorry you had to call reception to get off of our rooftop. Nevertheless, we are delighted to learn that you appreciated our garden breakfast and were charmed by the picturesque views from our property. Must visit this hotel if traveling to Nice!
Stayed for three nights (partners birthday) and had the most amazing time! Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean and facilities are very good! Small hotel but felt very welcome and location just can not be beaten anywhere in Nice! Rooms had recently been renovated, only thing stopping this being 5 stars in requiring a freshen up in the corridors/communal areas. Would (will) visit year after year!

The location is awesome with views from our balcony. We loved sitting out and looking at the promanade and the mediterain. The downside was the housekeeping was terrible. We kept having to ask for towels, lotion, shampoo, body wash etc. They never vacummed our room fromt he time we were there. The breakfast was wonderful and service at breakfast was great.
