'About a 15 minute drive outside the town of Nijar, voted one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. The house is simple, but very clean and in a nice quiet location. It is located on the Ruta del agua (water route), which was a perfect adventure for our 10 year old son. The location is up in the mountains, so walking is quite strenuous, but worth the effort. You can drive to the coast in about 40 minutes, with beautiful secluded beaches and great walking areas, as well as plenty of local shops...

Hard to find a reasonably priced Spanish food restaurant,but we did, dead opposite. The other 3 we tried were well overpriced, over decorated and each poor on comfort (4 people at a 2 person square table, no option) and low standard of cuisine'
